I started off as a Tae Kwon Do fighter at the age of 8. After I got my second degree black belt, I felt a need to branch out, so I started learning Muay Thai and BJJ. So... martial art.

i kid, what im trying to say is judo doenst work in real life
If you've practiced it long enough to have developed extremely quick reflexes, then yes it helps (got a bf who's indeed quite fast), but I think we would both agree that you probably wouldn't make it using only that. Since martial arts use rules.

I fight unfairly. I'll use whatever weapons I have on me (I always have my Swiss Army Knife with me), and also my surroundings.

My fighting style would include one of two strategies:

1. Run away, fast.

2. Bring tons of dudes. Then run away, fast.

Biggest load of bollocks I've ever heard. Unless you come up behind them and use the Master Lock, but then you can't hit them yourself.
maybe i didn't word it right.

i catch the opponents arms, get too close for them to kick, then shift one of my arms to their neck.

it works far better then it sounds, although it's still not great. i'm weak though, so it's the best i can manage.

Historically I'm prone to exploiting the environment, disarms and disabling blows (usually by bouncing heads off of walls, pavement, ect.), I know enough to be able to cripple people quickly, but it's never come to that.

Throw you're weight foreward, which knocks them off balance, potentially raising your legs, then spring back, it'll send them sprawling every time.

No, that's how you break about 80% of grapples like the one you're describing. And why you're tactic is pretty poor if you're dealing with anyone with more than about 2 hours of combat training.

yeah...

if you do that, we are both falling over. i don't let go quite that easily.

also, why are you bothering to criticize my fighting style? i already admitted it wasn't very good.

Because you're trying (intentionally or otherwise) to sound like you're a better fighter than you are.

The first thing they ever told us about ground fighting is, sooner or later, every fight will end up as a ground fight. If you've got the weight advantage, there really isn't a lot of incentive to put it off. So, if you grappled me, for instance, I wouldn't have an incentive not to put us both on the floor.

I'm telling you, the style you're describing is a terrible idea across the board. If you want to learn how to fight, that's fine, most police departments offer self defense courses for that very reason, but, you're better off doing that, then trying something that can be easily turned around on you, and in a real fight, get you seriously injured.
