Our family had a Commodore 64 but it rarely worked. There were some problems with the disk drive and now it lies in the attic. But I wouldn't count it as console, really.
my very first was an acorn electron that my brother had. you had cassettes and had to wind them to the right point to play anything. but after that the first was a sega megadrive.
memory was a bit hazy, but it was either the PC with diablo, or the SNES with super mario, but i was on the xbox, trying to best my bro and his friends at halo when i made the transformation to GAMER
I got a bricky red Gameboy on my 5th birthday, but i don't know if it counts because it's a handheld.
My first console was a SNES with the game Super Mario Allstars Deluxe or whatever it's called. I got it on Christmas and the N64 was released a few months later, so I had to get that one too.
