Poll: your first M game

im pretty sure its 17 (at least over here) to buy an m rated game. first i bought was hl2 - when i was 18. but first i played was halo 3 when i was 16 or something like that.

edit: scratch that. i think it was gta when i was like 8

Mortal Kombat was the first M game i played...atleast i think it was M. I know MK had something to do with the start of the whole rating business. I have no clue what the first M game i owned was. Remembering that requires quite a lot of pondering.

my first m-rated game?

I don't remember the exact title, but I think it was something with the word 'Creatures' in it, it was about a duo of mercs hunting down some supernatural creatures. It's a PS1 game

if not that, I think it was 'Kagero: Deception 2' another PS1 game, if you don't know what it is, It's a game that has you murder people by summoning traps or monsters in some midievil european castle or something.

I can't remember my first M game, actually. I want to say GTA 3, but I think the system was implemented before that and I love my Shooty-bloody-explodie games.

So, probably Doom, or Doom 2.

EDIT - Or Duke 3D. Can't forget the Duke and his "3D" pixel-strippers.

My first played was I believe Perfect Dark b/c the version of Mortal Kombat I played was the infamous SNES port, so I don't feel that counts.

EDIT: Actually I believe that my first game that could qualify as an M was Eternal Champions on the Genesis, a fighting game known for its background fatalities. This was before I was even in Kindergarten I believe. Though I don't know if it was rated as such, or if ratings existed but I think for the time it would qualify as such.

I believe my first was Turok for the N64, fun for a while anyway, I liked the big red gun. Maybe I played mortal kombat earlier, not sure. Well since I have not shot up a place, guess video games didn't affect me that much.
