Well, there's lots of people here that I regard as good friends, one of them is my twin too. Well, I'm the two years older, much calmer twin, but still twins! Others includes a crazy scotsman and some random folks
If I've known them for a while, then real friends.
For example, I talked to a guy for 5 minutes online, and now, a year later, he's one of my best friends, and we see each other out of teh intywebz as well.
Depends. I had one good friend on Xbox Live, but I haven't had Gold in the longest time so we're not in touch anymore.
I have friendly acquaintances on Facebook because we're all in a fan group, but they're not as close as my real life friends. We don't talk of much outside of the group.
Well, the online friends I have/had have become my IRL friends... And I actually feel closer to them than I do with some of the people I originally knew IRL.
I have a few online friends that I value quite a bit. I think they're no different form my real life friends. Except they don't live in the same country as me. But I definitely trust them with secrets. I mean they don't know anyone I know, and it's not like them telling their friends my secret is going to screw up my life. But yeah, I trust most of my online friends.
I don't really have too many online friends. I had a few at an old forum I was a regular at, but the place is pretty much dead and I haven't talked to the people there since.
Considering I regularly get together with friends I met through WoW, and (take of this what you will) some of my closest relationships are with people I've never met face to face, I think it's safe to say I consider them "real" friends.
I call a few people I met over Facebook real friends, but the people I meet here...might just be that I don't get to know them properly, but I don't consider you guys friends.
I don't really have any online friends. I mean, I've met a handful of people on facebook, but they're all friends of people I know irl, and we end up meeting and hanging out anyways so there's not much of a difference.
