24+ hours, lost track after the second lunchtime in the play session. Primarily playing WoW (what a surprise!) with other stuff in breaks, no caffeine or anything. 12 hours + is uncommon for me but due to time constraints not a lack of will or ability to play effectively.
When I was in my teens, I used to help host drunken LAN parties at my brother's apartment. I can remember going back and forth between hosting Starcraft matches and hosting Quake matches for well upwards of 24 hours straight while others brought me food and drink (generally starting with beer and graduating to coffee after the first 12 hours or so), only taking breaks to go to the bathroom.
Those were some unhealthy times for me. A dark chapter in the history of my kidney function.

my longest one is 13 hours i played through Catherine ( happy marriage route ) in one go without a significant break.
I think the longest I've spent gaming is in the 8-12 hours range and not recently either. When I first got my PS3 I was up until the early hours playing Fallout 3, the quiet of the house and the barron landscape just seemed to fit. I also did a mega session of Valkyria Chronicles on my first playthrough because I was really into the story, that was probably my last late night gaming session that wasn't a drunken attempt at Fifa or Street Fighter 4.
To be fair, I've never seen the point of staying up for so long playing a game, I like my sleep, the game will be there in the morning. Though I wlll be honest, I'd give anything not to be working tomorrow so I could finish Dishonored, I can't be that far off the end.

hmmm about 20 something hours at WoW Cataclysm launch, then 3-4 hours of sleep then another 12 hours or so. Don't think I could do it today though, I used to be quite good at pulling all-nighters in general back then without really feeling it until the evening of 2nd day, but can't do that anymore.
My record is 60 hours playing with a friend of mine. We were playing Star Wars Battlefront II, playing Galactic Conquest against each other. We were both so close in skill level that it kept going back and forth, until eventually all my friend had was Kashyyyk left. Unfortunately for me, it was easily his best map. It took me almost a full day to finally take it from him and win the game. Afterwards we both passed out from exhaustion, and it went from being Thursday to being Saturday...
Fun times, but I am never doing something like that again unless I win a prize for doing it.

When I first got Sid Meier's Alpha Centuri I played it it for about 12 hours each session. Then I did the same when. was supposed to be studying for bight school exams.
About 36-40ish hours I think, many years ago when I still had the stamina to pull all nighters. But there were breaks. I don't understand how people can wind up dead after insane hours of not moving. I took frequent short breaks for drinks and stretching the legs and ate as normal.
I don't even remember what game it was. Now, if I have a quiet weekend, I can hammer a game for maybe 20-24 hours over the course of both days with sleep in between. Weekend before last I spent about that many with Dishonored.

It was probably some levelling session in WoW when I was younger. I probably played all day. I've never fully deprived myself of sleep though.
The longest Gaming Sessions Ive had have both clocked in around 12 hours, and those honors go to Medieval 2: Total war and Mass Effect 2

I played for about 4 hours with very few breaks once. It was Friday after school, and I'd just gotten Dynasty Tactics 2. Those were the days...I'd do it again in a heartbeat if they made a sequel!

I went just over 24 hours. I'm thinking it was about 10 years ago when I was in my early 20s... Rx stimulants (prescribed) and caffeine went a long way... Was a combination of Counter Strike (when it was still a beta mod) and Diablo 2.
