Poll: Your Main Weapon

Some sort of long range weapon e.g sniper and an short range one e.g shotgun. Only carry pistol intil i can pick up a new weapon.

I... uh, mix them up. Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher... I'm not picky. I prefer 1 shot, more then 1 kill, but, again, I'm not picky.

I hate to say it, but shotgun.
Just because a lot of games I play involved buildings, and enemies that have a nasty habit of jumping out at you. Since the shotgun takes zero skill to use in close quarters it's always my default weapon, in case I have to react in a pinch.

Crossbows are pretty damn awesome. In the likelyhood there aren't any in the game I'm playing I'll usually go for a assault rifle, smg, shotgun or machine gun.. yea I'm not picky.

Can't stand panzy f****t snipers though.

A weapon like a M 16 cause with a scope you can use it as a mid range sniper rifle in some games and with a silencer it is great for stealth

Usually some sort of automatic weapon. But that's only if I'm outdoors or in some other open space. If I'm in a tight space, like a hallway, I usually default to the shotgun. It also depends on what kind of enemies I'm expecting to meet. In the Ravenholm chapter of HL2, for example, I almost always default to the gravity gun or the crowbar, no matter what kind of space I'm in. But the automatic weapon is generally the most well rounded, so I'll have to pick that.

I'd like a flamethrower/flare gun combo, including air compression blast.

I can see it, Horror-movie wise.

Someone walks into a walk-in freezer, and I melt the door shut. Someone throws a chair at me, reflect it back, gets knock down dazed, Drag him back to the "Fire-House", strap him in, set down the flame thrower and grab a acetylene torch and torture him with it, Hero-chick come in, knocks me out with a wrench, drags the guy out, i wake up shortly after and grab the flamethrower, modify it with the same wrench they're running outside to their car, and blow fireballs at them....

...Sorry, Fantasies of film-making on G-Mod go through my head.

i like using melee, but if the situation craves firepower, ill use an assault rifle or a shotgun.

But when I'm bored I say a long range rapid-fire shotgun with explosive rounds.

Crossbow all the way. Infinitely stealthy, and still deadly. Unfortunately there are few games that allow this weapon, so I usually end up taking the shotgun instead.

super weapons such as the sphere from infamous or the injection in prototype. also someone menchened death star. as long as not 1 vs 1 illd go for it.

I use my sharp wit to first demoralise and then either turn my enemies pawns against them or cause them to surrender.

If all else fails, I use stealth and steel. Guns for show, knives for a pro.

Although don't get me wrong, I hate us sniper scum too.
