Today I cut my teeth! 1000 posts! I'm overjoyed that I could manage to not get banned long enough to see my 1000th post. Of course I can't just make a thread saying "Look at me a I have more posts now!" So I made a poll. Will you celebrate your 1000th post?

I can't think of much reason to celebrate 1000 over 999. Or 999 over 998.

On websites where after you hit 1000 it simply says:

Posts: 1000 or more (AlternateHistory.com does that)

Then I could understand that, but not here.

No. I made one to celebrate 5000 and my Neo badge, but that's it. I don't think I'll ever make another celebratory post though.

Nope, cant say I did, but we have had people celebrate their 10k post, and their 100th post, so its all good. People consider it more tasteful if you throw in a review or something like that to make it something worth posting in I believe.

Yeah, I did. Last year. Unsurprisingly, the thread flopped.
Only my first ever thread was a slight success.
Shame, I put quite a bit of work into my thread, and it still died...

I didn't really celebrate it, no.

I edited said 1,000th Post with the words "Seems I've Gone Gonzo (Or I said "Hit 1000" rather than "Gone Gonzo", I forget), but I didn't celebrate it. I've never made a Celebration Thread actually, but I do enjoy viewing Celebration Threads.

Personally I thought of saving something special for my 1000th post but when it came down to it I just did an average post and in spoilers wrote 'post 1000'.
