If war came to Singapore, we're screwed. I mean, we're the size of New York. So when it comes down to fight or flight.....I'd say flight since I'm under age to be in the army.

Well, considering when the last time this happened, we went to war with the wrong bloody country I would have to decline the offer.
Sorry but I have little trust for the English government, especially concerning the act of war.

estonia wouldnt have a chance unless Latvia and Lithuania help us out but... I dont really have anything to live for and this would sort of be a chance to do something both interesting and meaningful.

Hell no. I am not risking my life on some stupid fight that has nothing to do with me. I feel like I am in danger? Then I will try to move to New Zealand

I would not go, mainly because of a mountain of medical issues and even if that wasn't a problem, I wouldn't volunteer unless i was guaranteed a position off the battlefield.

I'd choose not to go. I'm all for warring it up online but would prefer to leave the corrupt politicians to their little-rich-boy war games.
I would vote for government cage fighting instead of war.
Besides, I'm an Aussie, we don't get involved with anything!

If a country was attacking mine, I'd sign up immediately.

If we were attacking another country, I would have to look at the reasons we were attacking

Hell yeah I enlist. In the invading army, that is. My country could use a bit of pruning now and then.

Well, considering I live in Germany and if we were to go to war with anyone the rest of the world would start giving all of us extremely shifty looks (I'm speaking of course of a direct war, not participation in an enduring conflict like Afghanistan and Iraq, in both of which German troops are also involved) I'm gonna have to say no, I'd gather my posessions and hot tail it back to Blighty.

Belgium has seen its fair share of wars. Besides who would want to invade this rainy post stamp?

No I wouldn't and nor would my family or friends , my parents are too old my brother and sister have very young kids. Im not going to go to my death while some politician sits safe in a bunker somewhere. I would defend my neighbourhood though if it came to it .

I would absolutely refuse, war's are caused by the politicians, religions and corporations that rule countries so let the people in control of those groups fight the war, not the people who are just trying to live a decent life.

I would only enlist if it was going to war for the right reasons. For example to defend itself not if it's attacking. Also I'd see if God wants me to.

Do you enlist immediately or not? The causes are not clear but the war has already taken thousands of civilian lives on your side of the border. Your family/friends have enlisted and everywhere you go you see people you know saying their goodbyes before basic training.

Do you have doubts and wait? Do you want to stay away from the fighting altogether? Or do you sign up right now?

Decide if you want. I'd probably be torn between waiting or going right away...

EDIT: Polls don't allow for edits after the fact do they? Put a want in that option three. >.<

Without hesitation. I'm a patriot, and I don't think anyone could call themselves one, of any nation, without believing their life should be forfeited, for the greater good.

Of course, this doesn't including the farces that pass for war these days, this is invasion / pre-emptive strike wars.

countrys with conscription sound like terrible places to grow up(unless its a not going to university, you have to be in the army sort of thing)
It's really not that bad. But too bad for me Israel sucks regardless of if there is, or there isn't conscription. WHY WHY WAS I BORN HERE WHY DID MY PARENTS HAVE TO IMMIGRATE FROM EUROPE?!
There are only two giant clusters of retardation on this planet the US and the middle east and I had to be born in one of them... My point is "stop whining because it is far worse for some other people"

If it is a war between nations like the world wars and not any of the current wars like the war on terror then I would enlist with out hesitation. As a citizen of my country I have an obligation to defend it and anyone who says differently is just a coward pure and simple

A homefront would depend on the enemy. I would on enlisted in WW2 it was fighting for something I believed in. The Iraq war, no way I have no faith in it so I would make a crappy soldier. Since I am not at all proud of my country right now it would have to be a war that I saw needed to be stopped ASAP.

I think I would. I've always felt that it it's a really brutal war, it's my moral duty to go because if I don't someone else takes my place and they might die. I dunno if I could live with that.

Yea this. Baltic armed forces each on their own are quite week, United on the other hand... still weak.
Besides, who would attack 3 ex-soviet countrys anyway?

Probobly yea, I rather fight than learn Russian!(supposing that they are he ones who attack.)
