I am not going to lie or sugar coat it. I LOVE meat, namely Bar-B-Que. I will eat pretty much anything now. Steak, Tri-tip, Burnt Ends, pretty much the whole cow.

But I was wondering, just how much of a miniority (majority?) of escapist am I? You opinions.

ps, I am sure that I am going to have to defend the cattle industry in my stance as well. Best be ready.

I'm craving a big, juicy pork pie.

The pastry casing itself is something out of this world.

Yup I love me some meats. So far I had never ever had a meatless lunch and dinner (if I'm having a sandwich it got to have ham). Even a small amount of meat will suffice abliet I won't be fully satify.

Sometimes I feel bad about processed meat, but it's too delicious. If I was less lazy I'd hunt or raise my own meat. However I'm extremely lazy so the supermarket it is!

I was vegetarian for about six months, and I'll probably go vegetarian again once I'm living entirely by myself/just with one person. Meat really isn't as necessary as most people make it out to be, and too much can actually be bad for you...I don't mind the odd bit now & then, but don't like being an absolute carnivore.

I love meat products because bacon. Also salami. I could eat a full packet of that stuff. And the Sunday roast is the king of dinners.

Delicsious

ESPECIALLY Vault dweller...its a rare but highly desirable meat, full of nurients needed to survive the wastelands

and usually free of disease or Radiation

Meat is pretty awesome, gotta confess. If God didn't want us to eat animals, why'd he make them so damn delicious?

I don't eat meat with every single meal, but I usually do for lunch.

(Once synthetic meat proves to be a worthy replacement, even vegetarians/vegans* can enjoy it!)

[sub]Maybe not vegans, since I think I read that synthetic meat (Currently) uses cells to replicate the results, so it'd kind of be an animal by-product [/sub]

I do love my meat and I definitely couldn't give it up but I have been known to go for a few days without consuming any delicious meaty produce. There's just some really nice vegetables out there, as well as fairly tasty meat-substitutes. Still, in the end, I come crawling back, ready to crawl into that wonderful, meaty embrace.

Can't wait to see the PETA ads for that one :p
Oh, dear god, no...

OT. I eat meat. And I'll be damned if I ever let anyone try to belittle me for it.

I'm trying to cut down on my meat intake-- it's incredibly difficult, me coming from the universal nexus of BBQ and seafood (South Cackalacky), but not only are the animal industries disgusting, the correlation between meat consumption and cancer/heart disease (two of the shittiest and most common ways to die, both of which run in my family) is well established.

My strategy is to avoid meat during the day; this helps me justify buying quality meats (shashimi tuna, wild salmon, free-range chicken, grass-fed beef) to prepare for dinner. No more of that processed stuff >.<

Om nom nom. You guys have fun eating your front yards, I'd rather die at 55 eating stuff that tastes good than live to 75 eating shit that has no flavor at all.
^This. I mean, if you told me I could live to 125 if I stopped eating meat/animal products right now and started eating uh, cactus juice or somethin', I wouldn't cos that'd be no fun at all (Besides, I'd outlive all my omnivore pals.)

that was my exact excuse for years; flavor desensitization as a result of consuming excessive meat, animal products, processed oil and refined sugar is equatable with other chemical dependencies. Sugar and grease are probably my favorite drugs, but when I started drastically cutting them out of my diet I began to actually taste things. kind of like when I broke my coke habit and realized that things other than coke were were actually quite enjoyable, like sunsets and birdsong.

I have made a Bacon Explosion and it is surely what a god would eat.

Bacon wrapped bacon and Italian sausage with bacon salt and BBQ sauce done on the BBQ.

*Edit: You can feel the massive calories through your teeth.
That looks so good!

I love meat, especially chicken and pork. Roast pork with fat dripping off the meat. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

As an omnivore who actually moderates his meat intake for nutritional reasons... I think the way most of the US handles farming is disgusting, but that's no reason not to eat the stuff (just stop eating so damn much of it! Also, cut down on the bread, the old FDA food groups pyramid is wrong!).

Also, I think kids should have to kill their own food at least once. It may put 'em off meat for a few days, or even for a lifetime... more likely it'll just give 'em a better understanding of what all food actually is: the once-living tissue of other organisms.
PS- I love venison. Farm-raised animals just don't taste as good to me.

While I used to be a rabid meat-eater, now I don't eat beef or pork. I haven't for... wow, near three years now, and at this point even looking/smelling beef or pork makes me feel a mite queasy.
