I dunno... on one hand, there was that psychotic ***** that almost ruined my life, but on the other hand, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have most the friends I do now... so probably no...

No, you go right now and talk to this girl. Tell her that you think she's adorable (hot and sexy sounds like you're trying to hard) and you'd really like to take her out to dinner. When she accepts (notice I said 'when' instead of 'if') take her somewhere nice, but not to expensive. Don't try to rush anything she'll just think you're in it to 'win it' if you read what I'm typing. Thats how you get the ladies it works everytime.

On an added note, it's always best to clean up real good, and she compliments you, thats when it's best to ask her.

EDIT: is she a friend of yours or just someone you see at work/school?

Kinda few options I could only see a "Yes, to correct a mistake"...

But yes I would, especially if I retained all my memories and experience.
Nice avatar.

OT:

Yes, wait untill I'm older and then hit that button, so I know who I marry and I can meet them earlier!
YEAH! I'll... do that eventually, she's in another state right now... but when se gets back!

hey, life is too short to constantly wonder "what if." if you've got the notion that maybe she feels that way too, go with it.

"it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do."
Another Escapist have given me similar advice, I'll do it once we are back in the same state, since she is currently not in Louisiana.

I would keep it and find out something. If it's worse than the alternative, I would reset and never do what's needed to find out.

Definitely, however - I'd keep it until I've hit 70 - 75. In the years between now and then I'd spend my time learning everything I wanted to, refining my abilities and then reverting to further the cause of humanity.

Or - just hit it now, go back ten years and design Facebook myself. Done.

Yes, I would use it on my deathbed in order to extend my lifespan.

Or else sell it to the highest bidder and then give all of the proceeds to my children/charity.

I'd do it to go back to my sophomore year of high school. So many wacky shenanigans, I'd by lying if I said I didn't have a great time.

Time is a complicated thing. Yes, I do have some things I'd like to change, but I'd be running the risk of altering myself and the world in unpleasant ways.

By it's very nature, time is always moving forward. And so should we.

I go back and either
A) pick all the corect lottery numbers for every lottery in any place I can reach
B) invest heavily in Nintendo (before the announce and release the Wii) and in Apple (before all the Ipad/ Iphone Explosions) and any other company I can think off that gonna go big.
C) Wait until my life is almost over than push the button to go back so I extend my life, and can still do A and B

There's a was a time in my life where I blew my chances with a girl because I didn't have enough confidence to make the next move. She ended up getting involved with drugs (she wasn't at the time of the incident) and becoming the class slut. I was a straight arrow, though. I've always wondered what would have became of us both if I'd had the nerve to ask her out (something she clearly wanted me to do, in hindsight).

On the one hand my influence might have kept her away from drugs and sex and all that. On the other hand, she might have influenced me in that direction instead. Alternatively, it might have broken off right away and had next to no impact.

However, I don't want to risk what and who I am now. I'd only agree to change the outcome there if I knew it would create a separate timeline, and I could come back to the current one.

Yes, I would use it. I'd use it to go back to Saturday, the 24th of July, 2010.
That was the date of The Prodigy's Warrior's Dance Festival, aka the most epic night of my life. I'd re-live from the morning, not have those fucking awful chips I had so I wouldn't vomit halfway through the night, but apart from that I'd just re-live it.

Then, life would continue as normal. I'd do everything I usualyl do, except I'd be keeping the motivation and knowledge I have now to lose weight and get muscle, so I'd be starting early. Back then I had no motivation to, but now that I've met a special someone, I do.
By the time I re-meet her, I would be a better person than I was, and I would know what chances to talk to her come up, and what I should say when they do.

Therefore, everything will go a lot smoother. Being less fat than I was, and therefore more attractive, and also being more confident due to already knowing what to say and what not to say, the relationship should develop far more than it is currently. And definately not accidently let slip to a certain dickhead my feelings for her, because I'll know he'll pester me about it and drop hints about it when other people are around, when I wanted it kept secret.

As a bonus, I'd know what to revise and what not to revise for my final GCSE exams. Would save a lot of time.
Also, it would be really cool to have the surreal experience of knowing what's going to happen before it does...
