I would be very nervous about using pirated software that controls a USB device attached to my male member.

Haha Brilliant!

Now whenever Terms and Conditions pop-up I'm gonna feel a shudder go down my spine.

I wonder if in the comments though the torrents quickly get flagged as 'traps'.
They probably get flagged immediately but many would blindly download anyway and even if they are flagged the company can create a new trapped version and come out with it. Spam it in fact until it's hard to tell which one is real and which one isn't. Would be FAR more effective than the copy protection they're using these days that's cracked before the game is even released. Wouldn't even need the exposing aspect. Just tricking people into downloading for hours or days to find its a fake, repeatedly, would be a great deterrent. They should go even further and install a Trojan that broadcasts your address and IP so that authorities can drop by your house and pay you a visit.

And to the people who are crying "This is an invasion of privacy! It's illegal!" It's also illegal to put cuffs on a person and imprison them. But when someone's blatantly doing something illegal their rights gets voided. It's as simple as that.

the company probably realized that anyone that downloads this fake and then tries to sue them for damages also will run the risk of having the law come down on their ass for they may have illegally downloaded.

The company believes it is safe from legal reprisals.

Greatest, DRM, EVER!

Bless their hearts for being so creative, but aside from this DRM masterpiece, do you suppose they bothered making a visual novel that wasn't just a sideshow with hilariously bad storytelling? I won't lie, I've played one of these before, and it was bloody awful.

Nods to them for their protection ideas though, shady though it be.

Well posting personal information to a public site is a little extreme IMO, but pirates had it coming. Maybe instead of taking their personal belongings a company could flood torrents with bad copies of the game that just wouldn't work and so for every actual illegal copy there would be multiple useless ones that would waste the pirates' time.

Either way doing something with this "fake pirated version" is a good idea to scare some pirates away from dl'ing so much stuff.

Those desktops are relatively amusing. I wish I could read Japanese.

The SOM, on the other hand, is rather sad. Cheap USB driven plastic whose main purpose appears to be to allow the players to keep both hands on the controls as they play.

The best anti piracy scheme I've ever heard of! More games need to use it lol.
