Well... Depends what you call a high post count.

I usually go off how well i know the poster, than their post count.

Used to, older members used to let you know it too. But they've all been banned.

Not all of them. There are a few of us 07ers still around. Mind you most of us are the ones that sporadically post, or post very little, but still here.

I'd say no, but the mods around here seem to have an itchy warn/ban finger, so I'd say people with a post count over 2000 or 4000 have a good chance of knowing what they're are doing and contributing to the community often.

Might have been true in the past, now it is more of a 6,000-8,000+ post range before you can really expect them to know what they are doing.
