Some of the staff were discussing this at lunch. I mentioned my frustration at the trend that women always need to be IN the picture. Like... if a dude wants to show you his cat he just takes a picture of the damn cat. If a girl does it, likely the picture is of herself holding the cat... which makes the cat more of an accessory than a subject. It's like "Oops did I happen to include myself in this photo? Coincidence!"

Anyway, I think Mallefunction at least deserves credit for subtlety. It appears that since she initially "forgot" to post her own picture in the beginning, it wasn't at the forefront of her mind. But, if you look at the timestamps, it took less than 2 minutes for her to "remember" to edit in her own picture (since the first reply to the thread mentions how attractive she is).
Not to be all Cole Phelpsy or anything.

That's a good point. But guys enjoy being fawned over just as much. Like, I've been on forums dominated by girls (due to my girly and somewhat feminist taste in music and literature) where my ego was constantly stroked just because I'm handsome and charming and Irish and shared their interests. It can be very addictive (not to mention damaging to your sense of reality), so I don't blame anyone for it.
Gaming forums are just a gender inversion of the above. A girl on a gaming forum, it's kinda like working in a chocolate factory. It takes a lot of self-control not to succumb to temptation.

Unfortunately, I do have stretch marks. They are just on my thighs. I actually used to be about 30 pounds overweight. The weight is gone, but the marks remain >.<
