Pottermore Means Gamey Website, Not More Potter

I'm actually glad that she's not going to do more with it, we've seen what happens when people get just a little too caught up in their creations and start making absolute garbage (That's right, George Lucas, you have been called out!). On the other side of the coin, it does seem wrong to tease the fanbase with a title that makes them almost certain there will be more novels...

Is it me or is J.K Rowling the most miserable non fictional billionaire? "It was fun while it lasted" to paraphrase: "I am now hopelessly tied to a finished series somebody murder me". Honestly someone post a cheery interview with her.

To Potter fans this is disappointing and was hyped beyond belief. Although it's a nice idea I seem to recall the old Harry potter websites having great interactive features.

Maybe it's a little misguided to have 'Pottermore just a website' by way of introduction to this news on the Escapist homepage. This is not 'just' a website thing could potentially shake up the publishing business in a major way, I expect that many authors will want to follow suit and for fans of the fantasy and science fiction genre, that's a BIG YAY!

I agree with many people on this thread, JK Rowling was right to quit while she's ahead!

I cross my fingers that pixar do the same with the Toy Story franchise!
