The minions from Despicable Me build a rocket, launch it, and crash into the moon. Repeatedly. For mild comedy value.

Good luck even getting to the Mun : /. Even if you build a rocket that does not blow up or crash while still on the planet (or on the actual ground), getting to its moon already requires a good bit of knowledge of how spaceflight works.

The "historical missions" are actually a good and fun way to learn the ropes step by step (although naturally they sometimes make things harder than need be)

EVERYTHING YOU LOVE DIES, PEOPLE ARE ASSHOLES and you end up living to survive another pointless day because it's a Zombie Game and most Z-Stories tend to go this way.

Nah, you'll be fine! Prussia and Britain are actually more annoying if you're doing an early-game zerg.
Lots of frigate fleets to raid mainland UK, stay the fuck away from Nelson's fleet IMHO.

OT: Playing Automatons in Endless Space. I predict getting a few full systems, defensive-designed fleets, then science related victory.
