What is your favourite pagan mythology? Greek, Roman, Norse, Zoroastrian, etc.? To me, the best is Norse, Vikings unite!

My user name; however, is not Norse, it is...Zoroastrian or some middle eastern one.

With Norse mythology, you have the whole warrior mindset, Valhalla and all. Plus you have Fenrir the wolf beast. Greek would come in second with it's complicated ways.

I like the Discworld mythology.

I am a priest of Hat, the vulture-headed God of unexpected guests:

Grecko-Roman mythology in general. Those gods are so delightfully messed up...
'course, I don't know a whole lot about them, but what I do know is funny...

I love Norse mythology, but I have to say, I like a lot of other mythologies too. So I can't really choose my favorite.
Though I do need to take some time to learn more about other mythologies.

Ancient Sumerian because I find it interesting to see how one of the earliest pantheons of mythology influenced other religions an mythological sets.

Norse is definitely my favourite. Parts are extremely cool, and other parts are completely insane. Go check out the norse creation myth and you'll see what i mean.
It also has ragnarok, and it spawned the band Amon Amarth so it gets extra awesome points :D

Roman. Not Grecko-Roman, Roman. The difference is the thousands of little gods like Priapas and Mithras. If it was a God back then in the Roman Empire, you were allowed to worship it.

Also, the main Pantheon (Jupiter, Hera, Venus) were all messed up bad asses.

I've always been most fascinated by Egyptian mythology. I find it has the most interesting symbolism and by far the most complex beliefs about death and the afterlife. Greek mythology probably comes in second since their gods are all drunken lunatics and entertainment value cannot be underestimated. Native American beliefs take third due to the deep interconnectivity between every being and action.

Finnish. A bunch of warriors, wizards, thieves and bards then have crazy drunken parties with singing [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalevala]. It's like the best D&D game ever.

Greek Myth.

the Olympian Gods are very flawed, to the point where I could point and laugh at one of them if I thought I could get away with it. Also if the myth elements become real, who knows? it could be fun.

I'm interested in Greek mythology, but I've always been most partial to the Norse mythology. Loki, Fenrir, Tyr, can't get enough of it, and I can't wait for Ragnarok. However, I've recently become interested in the mythology surrounding Baphomet, not for the purpose of worship mind you, but enough people said Samael (my avatar) looked like him (and damn, does he) that I got curious. Turns out Samael and Baphomet are essentially the same thing, aesthetically at least: hermaphroditic goat deities are apparently in stock.

Correct, in fact, if I'm not mistake, the term "Pagan" was originally an Irish term meaning "peasant" or "commoner" or something similar, as the religion itself was in much greater abundance then. Us Irish have a colourful history indeed.

To be honest they are all just epic, its hard not to just be in awe when reading about some of the stuff, I mean come on, Gods materialized, its just cool.

I have no preference, but I want to make a note towards the often overlooked Irish Mythology. Irish history is literally covered with pagan culture and the stories of old are still as epic now as they ever were.

Japanese mythology and Greek Mythology.

Both are very elaborate and really interesting to read about.

Norse and Greek are both pretty awesome, owing in no small part to their incredulous beardliness.

Haida Gwaii and First Nations in general (Canada). The Crow is forever personified to me as the trickster that stole the sun.
