Meh, this is biologically possible so no surprise there. Seems like people get surprised because they're so rare.
Guess if a meteor shot through your window now you wouldn't be surprised, because it's entirely possible, right?

This... is really weird. I bet she'll get a ton of media attention when it starts going down.

Please, for all that is holy... don't turn it into a reality show or some stupid shit like that.
Oh they will. It will be like that show about that short familly with a a son and daughter that is normal height and another son that is short. All they do is film everything they do and try to make it dramatic.

Wow, this must be rarer than non-identical twins.

I always thought it was impossible to have two siblings with less than nine months age difference. I probably should have guessed that it was at least possible, although technically it shouldn't be.
Are you kidding? Identical twins are less likely than non identical ones. It's just that most twins on TV are identical so people assume differently

Happens from time to time.

I thought I remembered hearing about a similar case fairly recently. I guess 8 years isn't all that recent though..

Just when we though that pregnancy meant a few months of no-worries time. Who knew you could just keep putting more babies in there?

That is very...strange. Very strange indeed. I didn't even think this was biologically possible until now. I pity the poor lady though- she's going to have to deal with two babies coming out instead of one...

Yes. Rarities are surprising... in their rarity.
How surprising.
Made me lul. =D

Well, okay, depends on who is affected by it. This story is merely a fish out of a water story so it's not that interesting.

Jesus Christ on a Bicycle! many thoughts rush to my head, not least of which is, why does God hate women so much, followed closely by, who hates women enough to get one double-pregnant

Being a male of the species I'm sure I don't quite grasp the subtle complexities of having two children come rampaging out of one's body only weeks apart, but I bet it stings.

Like, a lot.
^Exactly what I was thinking ಠ_ಠ

Very interesting, and thankfully, it could have been worse. They're only a few weeks apart. I imagine having a mostly grown baby and a tiny embryo in the same womb would be problematic. Basically, this is like having twins, but needing to go through 2 labors a few weeks apart. Rough, but it is also a very interesting story to tell the kids. And I wouldn't discredit this story too much: Its an interesting human interest story, and in small doses, those are fine.
