I'm sitting here in the dark as the Halo soundtrack is playing, it's very dark for a summer night in Norway (honest the night is often so light you can see for ages), and suddenly i see a flash of light light up the whole room and balcony, it's thunder and lighting and it's almost the perfect setting for a horror film.

Ever experienced this, any horror or any genre like scene in real life, are you experiencing it right now?

Please post.

Sounds impressive.
I've been right at the eye of a thunder storm before while camping.

Nothing makes you feel more tiny.

nope not at the moment, but I was at my grandmas house when a storm went through. The place just felt creepy at that point.

Wow sounds pretty frightening.

Holy crap it's pouring down, I'm looking at the street lamp and i can see alot of rain going down and i jsut heard some very loud thunder.

Well I'm going to go to bed now, night people.

Edit: Holy crap that thunder just made our house creak slightly in protest.

I once saw a fireworks show from atop a hotel in downtown Atlanta during a thunderstorm. Coolest thing I've ever seen.

Few weeks back there was a god-unnatural mist pouring over the lake I live at.

As in roughly a few metres of visibility.

Glad I never saw that movie.

Same thunderstorm type thing was here at my grandmas house last night. Scary stuff.

More like an Action game. Driving from the mall back to my house (after I had gotten Ocarina of Time) There was a HUGE ominous storm cloud off to the right that you could see entirely from top to bottom and you see lightning flash and bolts jump around the cloud and to the ground. That seemed like something big was coming but the storm was pretty pathetic.

I've never experienced anything like that.

But I did once spot a vicar walking through a graveyard wearing a cape. That was a pretty '...Ok, what the fuck did I just see?' moment. Kind of a scene straight out of a bad horror film.

Well I once got into a snowball fight where it was 2 against me and I dodged a snowball and caught another one and threw it in somebody's face. It reminded me of an anime fight scene, the way they always have those fluid and flowing motions. That was an awesome day. ^_^

One night, some machete wielding guy in a hockey mask broke into my house... So I beat him to death with my dick. Honestly though, I've never had a horror movie scene in my real life.

There was this one night where if you went out side, and looked to the left, it was a lightning show. It was only raining a little, but there was lightning going on every second. It was pretty cool.

Alright so what else happened last night was that fog/mist covered the whole of the fjord, so i couldn't see the neighboring islands which are only like 100-150 meters across from my house and it started hailing. Also a leak in the roof caused minor damaged to the sofa and landed dangerously close to the electrical socket.

I was on Holiday in North Carolina, next to a lake. I watched the Mist and thought it was an ok movie. The next day we went to the local Walmart to grab some shopping, on the way back, I kid you not, we see mist roling over the lake just like the film. And we were driving toward it. I'm not ashamed to say I pushd myself down in the back seat and cried a little.

Everyhing was ok though.

Oh, same holiday actually, a lot of creepy stuff happened.

First day, we get into this house and notice a really bad smell. It's pitch black outside, except for occasional lightning from this storm. After about an hours investigation, we find some nondescript meat in the cooker, teeming with maggots. The smell was so bad I retched. Nw this is creept enough, but then we start to hear the house creak, and stuff knocking against the side of the house. Looking out the window you could see stuff moving in the trees. Again, I'm not ashamed to say a little bit of wee might have escaped. I didn't sleep at all that night.

Next morning turns out the last people in the house had accidently left it in the cooker, and there were cute deer living in the woods around the house. But yeah, felt like th start of a horror movie that night.

I though the eye of a storm was totally calm?

I remember walking home at night a few years ago when it was really foggy. I honestly couldn't see clearly more than a few metres ahead of me. Was completely silent as well. Never saw a single other person or a car or anything the entire way home. It was very eerie, and reminded me of Silent Hill.

Oh man I remember when a lot of fog came by awhile back for me. I could hardly see anything maybe about 200 feet or so in front of me. I was just like humming the creepiest tune I could think of and I had to keep checking behind me, you know, just in case.

I was once smashed in the middle of Manchester at about 2 in the morning and I went to have a wee in an alley. I walked down it and I swear to god it looked like something out of Silent Hill. There was a stairway there that was all rusty and used to be painted red and the grid had steam or fog or something coming out of it.

It was the fastest wee I ever had.
