Yeah I was incredibly disappointed with Empire TW, I was hesitant to pay even $30 knowing the amount of bugs it has.1337mokro said:Almost seems like they are doing 1 game but releasing a part of it every year to fund the real project. We had Empire in 2009, the alpha build, Napoleon in 2010, the beta build and Shogun 2 in 2011, which I hope is the Gold version.
I can't say that I'm not looking forward to it but I remain critical of it. Especially since the Multiplayer boiled down to "Use quicklime and sharpshooters" and Multiplayer seems to be their main focus whilst the Battle AI and Unit Pathfinding remains severely lacking.

seriously mate do yourself a favour and buy Rome total war pack with barabarians and alexander expansions. they are poor graphics but brilliant games, you will not regret it.Hellz_Barz said:I was so psyched for this game i went out and bought empire and napoleon to get into the series.
But then steam died on me and hasn't worked properly since, and now I'm really sad. Although i suspect its my crappy Internets fault and not actually steam's.
Totally agreed. And if the graphics hurt you too much, I suggest downloading the Roma Surrectum mod. Really brings the graphics up to scratch, as well as adding a tonne of gameplay elements.HotFezz8 said:seriously mate do yourself a favour and buy Rome total war pack with barabarians and alexander expansions. they are poor graphics but brilliant games, you will not regret it.Hellz_Barz said:I was so psyched for this game i went out and bought empire and napoleon to get into the series.
