Nitzer Ebb are awesome; but this is just... bizarre and strangely fascinating. Nothing wrong with combining all three of my interests - women, music and video games.

They could have got someone hotter for Rayne though.

Quick little aside here... Why did someone dress as Link? Surely, that's a confusing predicament for one of those homophobic kids on Live.

Hmm, the only reason I completed Super Mario was to see Princess Peach strip. I was sorely dissapointed, but now my boyhood dreams can be fulfilled!

Oh, and people. There's a difference between Burlesque dancers and strippers.

I was fairly disappointed for several different reasons. Girls didn't look enough like the characters they were suppose to be portraying. Weren't all that attractive either. Feel as though little actual effort was put into the show. Maybe it's one of those "had to be there" performances. But I think I'd find myself listening to the music more than watching the dancing.

Cool. I actually saved these pics because a year later if I referance this nobody is likely to believe it ever happened. :)

Actually that's fairly classy as far as such things go. Once, years ago, some fellow nerds and I decided to watch some cosplay porn. What pray tell could go wrong with this? Well let's just say most of it seemed to involve some Japanese guy hiring streetwalkers, having them wear large rubber plastic masks looking like popular anime characters and then having very amateur sex with them while someone held a camcorder.

This is the internets, I can admit to many of the absurd things I've done over the years.
:)

In comparison this is well done for the stage show that it is from what I've seen, and honestly I see no real differance between this and any other themed erotic pagent. I mean if everyone was dressed up like "A Midsummer Night's Dream" I doubt many people would find it quite that unusual.

The one about Link gets me, but by the same token if Link actually *IS* a girl pretending to be a guy in the games, it might actually explain a few things....

TaborMallory, stating it like it is.

....After browsing through the pictures, I have my own statement/question to make...WHYY?!

Though interesting tattoos on the one who portrayed Samus.

I've always pictured bad-ass samus to be all inked up

I'd rather see an Inked Samus than a Zero-suit one...and yeah, tattoos would make sense on her.

I can take a light hearted view here (unlike some of the killjoys around here) and say I'd want to go see that (even if just for tits and giggles).

Some of you guys need to lighten up, seriously.
Think of it this way. Imagine all your childhood heros being turned into a bunch of whores. While the idea is nice it should stay that way an idea. This is just some jerk trying to use a bunch of ladies and video game mascots to appease a bunch of gamers who want to take their fantasies a bit too far.

There is a reason we call them a fantasy.
Exactly. I like to think they have more respect than to be strippers.

I went back and actually read the text that goes along with the pictures and discovered a bit more about the situation (imagine that: it helps to not be distracted by teh b3wbs). I would suggest that you do so as well. Suffice it to say, anyone who thinks that the woman was portraying Link as a female clearly was paying too much attention to her chest. The text actually notes that she segues into Zelda, and then strips; which, if you come to think of it, is a fairly clever play on the androgyny of Link.

Frankly, after getting more of the details, I am far more inclined to think this was an honest homage by fans, and not an exploitation.
