I thought Screwattack owned all the rights for your show and where it can be shown? Ah well, whatever gets you more recognition. ^^

I really enjoy this show.

I like the way you have the different characters interact with each other. Essentially taking what could be played out one dimensional characters and giving them lots of room to play off of each other. This is funny and it makes me laugh.

The first four have been out for a bit now so people can get caught up, as for why released all on the same day/time I will let Paul field that part.

Any reason for all four at once?

Not bad, a bit on the fence waiting to see where this goes, but I'll definitely give it a few more episode watches before I make my decision.
Edit: Did not realize episodes 2-4 were also posted here, will give those a watch right now.

OK, I wasn't sure at the beginning, but you had me with Platform's commute. And Racing's pickup lines were so hilariously bad.

That doesn't look like the layout of the MTCC. If it was a Toronto con, it wasn't FanExpo. You briefly see a staff member get on the up-escalator wearing a blue shirt with a kanji character on the back--ring any bells?

PLATFORM + RACING = AMAZING! lol racing was the most hilarious one, so was old school. the cast should make accounts and come on the forum! and the FPS character looks really interesting.

I am officially a fan :)

Hey everyone,

We have had these four episodes out for a while now.

Episode 1 was released in December
Episode 2 - February
Episode 3 - March
Episode 4 - a couple of weeks ago

We're trying to make the show a success on the Escapist and we have many new videos that we are working on that we feel are improving the quality of the show. So, instead of wading through a month of older content, we'd like to get all of you caught up on our show so that we can focus on releasing our newer (and IMO, better) content.

It gives you quite a bit of our old content to swim in for a while as we become a regular fixture here on Tuesdays.

As far as our future releases go, here's what you can expect from us:
A 15-20 minute full-length episode every 4-6 weeks.
Every Tuesday that is NOT a full-length episode, we will be releasing a ~5 minute short / mini-episode.

EDIT: The convention was held in Washington D.C.

I feel this show should be removed because its bad... Na I tell a lie it shouldn't be removed (just like Jim sterlings show just because you don't like it doesn't mean it should be removed)
I don't really like the show if that wasn't obvious. So far I cant understand why anyone enjoys this as I don't feel it even reaches basic gamer humor.

oh wow... RPG had the few good moments; and Racing was just plain nauseating. Who is the main guy? Retro? Ugggg. I'm actually surprised I made it through the entire thing. The pilot wasn't that good, but this was just plain bad.

And I thought The Jimquisition was awful, at least that has gotten marginally better with the last two episodes; whereas this one marched over to the cliff and jumped.

I had my doubts about this show when I watched the pilot, but this was exquisite. Rpg is great and Puzzle is quite cute. I do not know about Fps, her acting seems forced compared to the others, but maybe that is just how Fps is like.

Great show anyhow, I am off to watch the other episodes.

The ideas are reasonable and in theory the characters are set up fine, but the execution is all over the place. RPG is basically fine as he is, as are horror and IT. Puzzle and FPS need to stop trying to make up for their complete lack of stage presence with revealing outfits, because the scenes really drag whenever they are on camera regardless of what they're wearing.

Keep it up, but I do hope as people get more comfortable with their characters the flow improves.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/checkpoint/ Hopefully your Mondays will now be filled with infinite joy.

Anyway, back on topic, I really liked this. When I saw the pilot in the film festival, I wasn't sure if this would have any legs. I'm glad that I was proven completely wrong. It's nice to see another long form web series to join the ranks on the internet. I also really like this idea of using minisodes to fill the gap between the full length episodes. I hope this works out well.

I liked it. Got several good laughs out of me, the humor was quite good.
It might have felt a bit slow at some points, but that's the only thing i could whine about, i think.

The RPG guy was damn awesome, but the others were cool, too.
I wanted to say something more (positive, of course) about the show, but I forgot it...damn.
But still, seems like a fun show.

Yes, it was filmed at a convention: Anime USA 2010.

Madara was the only actor that we used. Everyone else was completely improv/impromptu.

God 14 minutes? I couldn't get past the first ten, sorry. I gave this show a second chance as I thought it had potential, but honestly, it's not living up to it.

The acting is atrocious. Most of them can't deliver lines without smirking or smiling. They seem to have a tough time staying in character. Not to mention the delivery on most of the lines is just bad. The only character I enjoyed was horror, as he hardly said anything.

The pacing is very slow as well. It's also just not that funny. Most of the jokes you see coming a mile away and the timing and delivery of them is also pretty weak.

Frankly the show would be a lot better with something like 3 cast members than this hodgepodge of actors who aren't that great.

Not trying to be a dick, just being honest here. I hope the show gets better, but I won't be watching it again.

On a side note, rather than create a new show every couple of weeks on the Escapist, how about we start regularly updating some of the existing shows? D&A has been gone forever and it was one of the best things on this site. Creature Caster Masters had 2 episodes and has all but disappeared.

Sadly it took me 13 minutes to realize fps was dressed as Laura Croft.
I am definitely trying out Racings pickup lines in the upcoming anime festival.

I have a small background in improv and acting, and I see two things that killed me the whole time.

1) Nearly everyone makes the "here comes the funny part" face as they are telling an obvious joke or making a reference. It makes the audience groan instead of laugh. So if that is the goal of the series, keep it up. I don't think I saw one real "ah ha" moment where anyone changed or discovered something new, made any non-one dimensional observations or anything. Personally, I love character development. If you put a puzzler and an FPS person in a room, funny things will naturally happen, but they don't have to be forced. Think Seinfeld, George and Krammer are fundamentally different characters with different motivations and those differences naturally created hilarious and sticky situations.
2)You guys look like friends. You look comfortable around each other. Somebody needs to be a dick and just cut stuff that A)isn't funny and B)slows the pacing of the story. Sometimes great ideas aren't great for a particular situation. However, if you guys are only together because of this project and you don't care about each others feelings then I am even more confused. Why did everything make it in and 5-7 minutes of relevant and funny things were -squeezed- into 14+ minutes?

And now I feel like a dick. Let me close by saying that I have hope and see serious potential. Furthermore, I am a lazy ass who sits in front of the computer talking smack and you guys are actually creating something. THAT is awesome.

PS please have everyone read "The Truth in Comedy: the manual of improvisation" by by C Halpern, D Close, K H Johnson. I am only referencing this because I was just stating less eloquently everything these guys do a great job communicating. Seriously, your show as a "Harold" would be mind bendingly amazing.

Why so much uneven microphone quality?!

It's an odd thing to bother me... BUT IT DOES. Three episodes left to make it better.

Gave me a couple of laughs though. Acting slightly improoved. Let's see what you have in store for me PGG.

EDIT: Odd thing to pick up, when was this filmed? Because the reference is to SCI since there are no Firebats in SCII and I sound nerdy even in my head...

That was thouroughly uninteresting. I forced myself to stay until the end so that I had given it a fair chance but after that 15 minutes of boredom, I'm not going to be watching any future installments. I think the highlight of the whole episode was "I usually use X to pick things up". There were no laugh out loud moments, just lots of jokes falling flat either from the painful acting or just generally bad writing. I thought the pilot was ok but this just did not hold my interest at all. I'm glad that other people like it but I cannot see this appealing to me at all. Good luck with the show and I hope you can improve greatly over time.
