I'm a huge fan of TNA,not so much WWE. I'm actually interested in getting into the amateur circuit. I'm currently trieing to find some type of wrestling school in the northwest but so far no luck. It always confuses me how people can think something like a turnbuckle attack can be faked. A 250 pound man landing shoulder-first on you isn't easy to fake!

Bullshit it's real. The other day I watched Ray Mysterio get absolutely massacred and then out of nowhere do his "619" and win with a KO from just that.

also yes it's choreographed but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like hell. Bret Hart was asked about what hurt and didn't in pro-wrestling and he responded with "if it looks like it did then it probly did". sorry to say but there's no way you can not hurt yourself by getting tossed into the turnbuckle or the fence surrounding the crowd.

Mick Foley in the Beyond the Mat documentary said that during his hell in a cell match, everyone remembers the fall he took off the top of the cell, which hurt him immensely and made his tooth puncture his sinus. however the wrestlers all remember the fall thru the top of the cell into the ring cause the matt, while padded, hurts like hell to get slammed into

Loving TNA at the moment, much better (for the most part) than WWE, not really seen any other promotions.

TNA is doing better they certanly have waaaaayyyy better wemon wrestlers than wwe.

TNA HAS women wrestlers, WWE has divas aka eye candy with no other talent, except Mickey James, Trish and Lita were a golden womans wrestling age for WWE.

Yes it's fake fighting, it's scripted, but it's semi-contact (like a martial arts tournament), these guys cut themselves open to bleed (which hurts like a *****) agree to everything that's going to happen before the match up, how many of you would say to a 15+ stone guy, "yeah, you can hit me over the head with a chair" and to those that say "oh, but they put their hands in the way" WOULDN'T YOU!?!

4/5 of the guys are trained fighters after all, undertaker taking a 5th dan in Jiu Jitsu, Kurt Angle the 1996 Heavyweight Olympic gold medalist, Bobby Lashley a Army (or marine) wrestler, and a highly rated one at that. Then there are people like Batista and Cena who are just "pretty boys" but they still get taught some basics and how to fall.

Jeeze, for a forum that's generally well educated a lot of you know bugger all about this.

Actually john Cena went to a school called UPW, so he actuallly has atheletic ability.
and batista graduated from The Wild Samoan Training Center so its not they just lift wieghts all day and look in the mirrior grunting they went to a school.

I used to be big into ECW back in the 90's and early 2000's. Back before it was bought out by WWE. Oh how I miss Joel Gurtner's rants and rhymes at the beginning of the show, Rhino, Sandman, RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, Dudley Boys, Sabu, Joey Styles, etc... What fun times those were. OOOOHHH MMMYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD!!!!! lol
