I learned about this game earlier this morning, and I'm still incredibly excited. I've been squealing over this like a 9-year-old girl inbetween classes and other stuff, and that trailer just put me over the edge.

Quick question: What year is Prof. Layton in? It looks like a long time ago. (I haven't been able to play the games yet) So, how would Phoenix be there? Time travel machine?
I mean, it is a cool crossover but my mind also went WTF at the same time.

Supposedly, the story has something to do with an alternate world that both Layton and Phoenix got pulled into along with their sidekicks. I don't think you'll need to play either series in order to understand this.

The only this could be more cooler is if Batman came into the picture and the three of them had to work together to stop Professor Moriarty so they could rescue Sherlock Holmes.

And then it turned into a fighting game.

That would be the best fucking game of all time.
