I know one of the most popular ways to protest a game with heavy DRM is people refuse to buy it and pirate it. But DRM is going to be pretty much the publisher's decision, and not buying the game hurts the developers more. If it's a good game, I'd much rather buy it and show my support to the studio.
But if I buy it, I'm also saying that I don't mind games with annoying DRM.
I can't actually think of a solution to this one, except perhaps making myself a harder sell on games. I'll still get ME2, but because of that, I'll be less likely to buy other games from EA.
