Really? I thought he was Greene's son, codenamed Pariah. He had a form of the infection as well.

Project Pariah, as dubbed by the military, is the son of Elizabeth Greene.

I hope your right about that last part because I watched The Hangover last night and all I could think about was jumping around Las Vegas. Kinda off topic but I thought I would share.

I thought Cross was Pariah originally when I beat the game. I am still a bit unsure whether it is the consuming story or not, though I am not sure whether I should trust the Wiki's idea (Which is the quote The_Night_Walker keeps getting quoted on), though it has caused me to think a bit more about the whole idea. In one sense, the whole supreme getting Cross idea makes sense for the fact that the supreme's hand appears out of goop when you beat it the first time. Though, I think the Pariah could make sense because they keep talking of the kid who exhibits no signs of the virus, which would be why many regular military people wouldn't know about him. Also, I think it might be so because the one arm guy helped deliever Pariah from Green, and then claimed it property of the military, which could explain why Cross seems to take a "Right hand man" position to him.
This is a random one that isn't talked about, but what happens to your sister? You put her down on the table after the first supreme fight, say something like "Do all you can for her, Doc", leave the room, and you never hear about her again. At this point, I've now just started to go with the idea that she was dead when you left, and that might be all.

Personally i thought that the ambiguity (butchered spelling) was one of its greatest strengths. I never thought of Prototype as a compelling narative, just a suprisingly fun and hard game. (I say "hard" as in it was suprisingly difficult, not as in OMFG OMFG THIS GAME IS WAAAYY TOO DIFFICULT)

Yeah, jumping on normal straight away was a good idea, added a level of difficulty.

But come on, this game was being awaited for so long, at least they could have bumped up the story a couple of notches.

Maybe, but they obviously took a painstaking amount of time to make the WoI and tweaking upgrades and the combat system, along wiht the chaos and the rock-solid frame rate, so I can forgive the story.

True, im guess im asking for the perfect game *cough* Valkyria Chronicles *cough* that mixes epic story with amazing gameplay.

Oh that changes everything, VK has instantly becomes the worse game EVEA.

Yes and not to be a tard, but its graphics were also the best i've ever seen. Other games i severely enjoyed are Deus Ex, and underrated games (imo) are assassins creed.

It was quite original to say the least, drawn on a canvious and animated, never played Deus Ex and AC is underrated, the story was very well told it just "didn't have enough fighting" i hate people who say that.

Indeed but i have decided to reserve my *glistening eye* hopes and dreams for assasins creed 2 until it can prove to me that it won't just be AC with a glider and the ability to swim.

The real prick in the whole game IS Alex (before he was infected with blacklight) he caused a biological catastrophe.

This is actually the main thing that turns me off Prototype, and God of War. I don't like playing games where the protagonist is an asshole, no matter how good the gameplay is.

Yeah this is exactly why I didn't like Saints Row 2's story. It was fun and all but your character is a soul-less bastard.

Indeed but i have decided to reserve my *glistening eye* hopes and dreams for assassins creed 2 until it can prove to me that it won't just be AC with a glider and the ability to swim.

I've seen some strange things, good games become bad games and vice versa, people i had respected become MMO players and again, vice versa, hell, i even bought a random game (Valkyria Chronicles) and it became one of the best games i had ever played.

So with AC2 it can go either way, so i have prepared myself for a crap game, also got thoughts onto what would make it a good game.
