Prototype Suffers Installation Bugs

Well, I'm glad that there wasn't any PS3 Prototypes in stock when I went to the store! This doesn't seem like a good start for a very hyped up game.

I have 18 friends that Each have PS3's, and a copy of Prototype, and they haven't had any issues yet. Maybe this panic is much more miniscule than we are making it. As I've said earlier, I have had no problems as of yet.

This is probably true, but I was going to pick up Prototype later today and now I'm thinking I won't to avoid any issues at all. I think I might just get inFamous and wait a while for Prototype, when there's a proper fix out there if needed.

No fucking way. I have like 50 gigabytes left on this thing. I'm not gonna download EVERY SINGLE PSN DEMO EVER so I can install prototype. Though, this seems to be a rare problem so maybe it won't happen to me.

Still, this is a pretty big problem no matter how many people this has happened to. I mean, what about the person who has a PS3 and no internet or 56k?

Put a movie on a thumbstick and copy it over? But seriously this is a pretty bad problem... Oh and jeez man 50gb?! Do you realize how much space that is? I bet your could download all the demos and still have room left over.

I think it's because Blu-ray can't be read fast or something like that. If it didn't install, the game would have a low framerate, I'm pretty sure.

Don't counter an argument with another argument. A flawed one, seeing as all consoles and PC have loading times (even DS), but only PS3 makes you install games like on a PC.

Xbox version has 82 on Metacritics, PC has 84 and PS3 has 86. Average is 84. User scores are a bit higher.

But if not for Eurogamers (I don't trust them just like I don't trust IGN - they didn't play Darkfall, yet they gave it a very bad review), the score would be higher. Or IGN.

Alright, so Crusade wasn't the best choice of words. I dispise it none the less. Look, I'm just a generally good person trying to help resolve his dilemma. Is that really a reason to come down on my ass like a ton of bricks? For helping somebody? We might as well just hose down the boyscouts for helping society if thats how things are going to be. Seriously your the one being the flame-war starting fanboy, with all your snide comments about the PS3 installation and crap about how prototype shouldn't be 360/PC only.

All hazy is doing is recommending infamous over prototype for PS3 owners, seeing as they have a choice in that genre.
