I just hope it won't be a disapointment like infamous was, yeah sure the idea was appealing but the demo's gameplay was incredibly tedious. But yeah I hope Prototype turns out better than it looks(which looks great in the first place)

I like how...satisfying alexs moves actually seem. nothing worse than a brawler/hack n slash with wussy feel to it.

The only problem I can see is this:
It says the enemy is always looking for the Infected, which means they'll probably always be Firing at Alex.
I mean yeah, beating the living hell out of anything in your way is fun, but maybe if you just wanna calmly parkour through the city, it'd just be weird to have to dodge every enemy that you come across.
And I seem to hear conflicting things about the release date. Everyone here and the wikipedia page BOTH say the 9th, yet i see in other places the 10th.

I'm interested in playing it, maybe buying it. But I'm both saddened and scared that they are not releasing a demo for it.
No demo could mean that there just wasn't time to prepare one, or it could mean that the dev team thinks it'll sell better on hype than on people actually getting a taste of the gameplay.
Gaming is plagued with sequelitis, but there's a good reason for it. If you enjoyed a game it's likely that you'll enjoy more of the same. New IPs are often untested concepts that are better on paper than in an actual game. So when I see a new game as high-concept as Prototype and one that looks almost too good to be true I get a nervous tummy over the fact that I can't try before I commit my 60 bucks.
Don't mistake this as me saying I'm not interested in the game though. I still really wanna play it because all the press around it looks amazing and fun. I'm just prone to cynacism in my old age.

Eh, I'm mainly indifferent. While it will probably not be a horrible game, to me it just looks like all flash and no real substance. I prefer InFamous but I will definately borrow Prototype from my friend when he inevitably gets it (or I may buy it myself if I have disposable income and nothing else to do).
it looks pretty cool, but ill probably not buy it. im buying my 2nd wiimote soon and from there ill stack money up for a ps3. and a new ps2 (the old 1 broke).
