Battlefield: Bad Company wasn't reviewed by gametrailers until a full week after it's release.
GT gave it and 8.4 and the community voted a 9.2, and it is one of my favorite games.

I've said before, if Prototype is even half as good as it's been hyped up to be it will KICK ASS. That is all.

It is buggy, Seriously, Unless thats the anti piracy method.
How exactly do you know if it's buggy or not?
The same way I knew The Sims 3 had slower time then 2 a week before it was released.

It was leaked to the 360 =/

*spites the fact it was leaked for a console before a computer..*

I knew it was going to bomb as soon as it was announced and compared with inFamous. Prototype looks like it was developed by chimps locked in an urban environment, eger to kill and inFamous looked alot more polished because it was. Back then, before inFmaous came out, I gave it a 9ish and Prototype a high 7 - low 8ish based on the trailers and I'm sticking by it still.

I read this morning that the full game got leaked a while ago, and apparently it's buggy as all hell. Which would explain the lack of reviews, yeah.

I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow?
Hmmmm....leaked completed game a few months prior to release, methinks the game is buggy BECAUSE IT WAS NOT FINISHED YET!!!

I would normally wait until it actually gets released, proof is in the "finished" pudding, pre-ordered it last night and personally can't wait to try it out...can't be any more bug ridden than Star Wars Secret Apprentice (played through once, could not finish off one ending due to a system lockup, until my nephew played through).

Maybe we should wait until the reviews actually come out to see if it's bad or not? Or maybe we should try playing the game for ourselves?

Just declaring it bad because no reviews have popped up yet is rather quick to judge, don't you think?
No pre-release reviews is DEFINITELY a bad sign, for any piece of entertainment. Especially if that product has had a big hype campaign, like Prototype did. I'm withholding judgement, but it is suspect that there are no reviews yet.

Bomb?!
It might be "Da Bomb"
I'm really sorry and yes I'm glad to see that expression go the way of "you go girl" but I couldn't resist.
I thought that's what the OP was saying, not the opposite.

I am a little concerned about the lack of reviews but not as much as my concern over lack of demo. I don't put much stock in reviews (I'm more picky than Yahtzee) but the absence of them is sometimes a bad sign. Same with movies: no early critic screening usually means they're hiding their shame.

I'm going to rent this and infamous and probably get the better one; or if I don't like either, maybe red faction. I don't know why, I'm in an open world sort of mood.

as long as its no where as buggy as infamous ill be happy.
How was InFamous buggy? While it could have used a few tune ups with the platforming and camera at some points (and once I did fall through the world), I wouldn't say it's as buggy as you're implying it is.

well i dont how it was for you but i cant count how many times, i was caught on a ledge frozen half way through some animation, an sometimes cole would just blatently refuse to grab something, an after a billion tries he for some reason scitsofrenically decides its time to actually hold on. other times he just grab onto stuff you were wanting to go in the complete opposite direction of.

ummmm well i saw a lot of gameplay vids on youtube of the leaked version and i can most certainly say the graphics aint as bad as you would think the buildings/cars do look sorta crap and you get like hardly 3 models of cars copy pasted a million times but alex looks fine with his powers and whatnot but AI in the game is kinda screwy like people walking through stuff and not running away or running towards you for no apparent reason... the game looks fine , in thies days id expect more graphics out of it but graphics dun make a game.

btw anyone knows the date for the pc release and i mean the full date and not "9th" cuz that tells me notin =(
