I play D&D. In my parents' basement. Basically the epitome of nerd.

I grew up on Star Wars and made almost every Lego Star Wars creation, except the official Death Star ($100 is a little steep for a 7 year old), and own collectible FX Lightsabers, and could probably repeat the entire script verbatim. And I went to go see a one man star wars performance.
And being fairly knowledgeable in nerd pop culture.

I have to pack my books up and put them into storage every 6 months because there is no space in my room for pretty much anything else, and I need more books dammit!

And I deem any TV quiz show with questions easier than "what is the capital of Uzbekistan?" unworthy of watching. This one is unfortunate, since now there is only one left, and it only gets aired once a week.

I actually have a third party reference too! If I may quote: "Instead of going out on Friday night, you stayed home and played a card game? You guys have no life!"
depends what card game?

I play Warhammer 40k, created my own army and backstory for them, and am genuinely interested in the story. I know what a Squat is. I know all the Primarchs. I know the names of every unit in the game.

Your move, regular people. Having a hobby isn't enough, even if it is video games.

I'm a music nerd. Have been for ten years.

In terms of general nerdiness, I keep six journals, and I write essays for fun. I do scrapbooking. I'm obsessed with numerical patterns. I watch the weather channel. *shrug*

I've got an insane number of Gundam model kits in my room. I read sci-fi and propositional mathematics books for fun. I play a lot of games. I'm a Star Wars fanboy. I haven't got a girlfriend. I suppose that all counts.

Oh, don't worry, I haven't been swept up by the sudden fashion for poker. It was Munchkin, and for the record, we spent 27 minutes arguing over the rules and card text when one of us reached level 20, just as the creators intended.

I own most of the Discworld books, and have a bunch of other fantasy series lying around the place.

I own the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy usergroup here on The Escapist.

I still play on my SNES from time to time, and order new games for it on eBay.

I've been searching for a new NES.

I caught all 150 original pokémon without glitching, cloning or seeing missingno.

The list of games I've beaten [http://aboveup.tumblr.com/post/459719223/completed-games-master-list], I haven't updated it in a while. I've beaten Mega Man 1-3 and Darkwing Duck on the NES since making that.

I can play a bunch of game songs on guitar.

I've won a Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament.

Currently, I'm rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and FarScape.

I've memorized a bunch of Duane and Brand0 songs.

There's more, but it's not coming up at the moment.

I'm going to answer this in the form of a reply to a TalkRadar question of the week. (PS: It was read on the podcast)

Me being awesome said:
I was in class, a life skills class in high school, one of those "don't do drugs and be yourself" classes. That is mandatory.

So, they showed us a video where a (I hope) made-up kid used his dad's credit cards to buy WoW (cleverly disguised as "Worlds of Warfare", thanks, lawyers) gold and weapons and it got stolen or something and the kid was confused. The kid was clearly dropped on his head or something, but that's not the point. The teacher then inquired as to whether "Worlds of Warfare" was a real thing, and someone in my class said that it was probably just World of Warcraft in disguise. My teacher then asked if anyone had actually played it, and I foolishly raised my hand, the only one in the room of about 25 teenagers.

Unfortunately, the nerd inside got the better of me, and I spent the remainder of the lesson (an impressive 20 minutes) talking in what I would call too much detail about World of Warcraft and it's various nuances. I discussed the currency, the auction house, player groups, guilds, you name it. At least, I tried to over the laughter.
So thar we have it. The question was "What was your nerdiest moment?", so I think it's fitting.

Ask me any question about Avatar: The Last Airbender. Seriously, any question (in-universe, not about the show's production). I've watched the show from beginning to end 7 times, and I know almost everything a fan can know. I love that freaking show.

I also randomly get onto rants about the amazing literary and/or artistic qualities of various games. Thank goodness I found a girl who thinks it's cute instead of getting annoyed...
