Quite enjoyed playing a game of bowling with someone the one time I did bother but having to wait for a game is fucking stupid.

I deleted it from my HDD soon after.

I think it would be great if they moved the XMB to the start menu of Home, and just have the PS3 boot up in the sucker. Though, there would have to be vast improvements coming to Home, but it would be great to do this.

I was really excited when i heard about it, then was ninja kicked in the crotch as i was left disappointed by the fact i have to stand in line to do anything. Ever. Its a virtual world. There is no reason to force me to wait in line to bowl.

It's not shit because the content sucks. I think it's shit because of what people who do use it use it for. In my hour-long experience with the service, I saw no less than 4 groups of avatars clumped together, dancing, and saying (well, typing into speech bubbles) things that would make most sailors blush.

HOME is one big fat goddamn advertisment.

It has NOT been designed with creativity in mind, it has NOT been designed with fun, exploration or real user input in mind. It HAS been designed to FLOG CRAP.

Every single area in home is a big fat advertisment billboard for pointless garbage like virtual clothes or new games and its fucking insulting and really goddamn boring.

Sony, stop trying to force feed us advertisments and palming it off as an interactive experience or social network because thats just a fucking lie.

Use your goddamn imaginations!

Did you get a platinum trophy in Resistance 2? Then maybe you should get an exclusive Chimera Head Plaque to hang on your wall! Find all the Feathers in Assassins Creed 2? Get a cool pet Eagle that sits on your shoulder!

I tried Home when it first came out on the principle that because Sony decided to shut down PSN for about four fucking hours in preparation for the launch. Needless to say I wasn't very happy.

I've owned a PS3 for about 16 months, it's been hooked up to the internet for the whole time, and I have never ever had an urge to try home. I just don't see the point. Is it actually fun? Mostly I've heard not. I bought my (somewhat expensive) PS3 to play the games I wanted. Why would I waste my time with some god-awful life simulator. I'm using my PS3 for a bit of escapism after all.
