Hes right, 3D gaming has been the majority of gamers dream since the early 90's when we first started seeing "3D" games (like Doom lol). This isnt a gimmick like some people say, its a goddamn evolution.Mazty said:If there is no demand for this, then why have Nvidia released 3D glasses for PC games?Clyde said:Sony makes the high-end TVs that will play these things, so it makes sense that they would use the PS3 to push other products. I doubt Nintendo will go to 3d because it's neither profitable nor is there any demand for this. Microsoft would probably be best seeing how this plays out. Copying the Sony shouldn't be hard for them as they just throw money at any problem.
OK fine we need glasses to view it.
But eventually we wont need glasses.
Eventually the technology will just work without causing any eyestrain, headaches or nausea.
And my god, I want to be able to play full HD multiplayer COD in full 3D so I can see every bullet coming out of the screen, explosions that look like they could literally tear my face off through the TV.
So lets see how it pans out before we all slate it, progress is often something to be encouraged remember. We cant live in 2D forever.
