Yeah it is worth getting a PS3. There have been more and more exclusives, and the Bluray player is a good deal if you haven't already bought one.

It's alot more expensive then a 360 BUUUUUUT it can be used as command center if used right.
The exclusives are pretty alright, only one that's properly tempted me has been heavy rain so far.
Just disc loading times are supposed to be a minor annoyance... I play monster hunter so it probably wouldn't phase me XD
What? A lot more expensive? No, the base consoles are the same price, but the PS3 won't keep charging you every month.

I can't say I've noticed anything about slow load times except maybe CoD MW2 campaign is about a minute load times, but the briefings are longer so it's no biggie. And many games install on the HD which basically reduces the load times to nill.

OP: Yes, if you can afford the $300 then do it for sure. There's a lot of good games on PS3, depends what you like but I recommend Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls, plus God of War 3 soon. Oh and if you plan to get FF XII, it's better on PS3 (one disc instead of 3, and IGN review says it plays a little smoother)
I live in the UK Buddy and i'm telling you the PS3 is far more expensive then a 360.
the former for a base model without any game deals can be anywhere from £225 to £240 whereas the latter is usually about £150 or less.

Bayonetta and Wet are some of the other games i've heard game's i've heard to of had hideous load times, but yeah the media install feature's a nice little add for the reduction of load times. Although i don't have a PS3 so i can't say i'm particularly well informed on the matter.

Given the Xbox has had a few model swaps because of the alarming tendency to cook itself when abused, but the PS3 did to the classic Sony moves of making a slim model about a year after the initial release.
sure it's cheaper to make them, bu ti can't help but feel like companies, Both Microsoft and Sony are trying to cheat us out of more and more money with little add on's and tweaks every so often or as i think it should be called "I phone syndrome"

Either which you has your choice and take's your picks.

How else would you play with moi?

add sony motion to your list of reasons your should get a ps3.

the PS3 literally does everything...

dvds
blue-ray
games
internet
3D
Wii
remote play
free online
bluetooth ( so when you buy that wireless headset you can also use in with your cell phone)
removable and replaceable HD, you don't have to get it from sony.
wireless internet access
you can install your own operating system ( i dont know if this is true for the slim thought, the old ones can)
its also very quiet

Wait for another price drop.
It would be worth it if they planned on doing all the awesome things they said they were going to do with it but all they've been doing is ripping off other consoles.

The best games out there are still multiplatform (though I haven't trid GoW3 yet) so I would hold off for now.

I'm not saying I regret buying one (the alternative at the time was the 360 and it was in the thick of the whole rrod crap) but if you already have a 360, you have enough good games to play.
