M$ sees preorders. Makes another 180 and reinstates their DRM policy.

I doubt it'll happen, but I bet it's tempting :D
Considering they already said they are doing everything they can to work towards that goal, it is actually VERY likely. I mean, what can people do if this happens one or two years down the line and they already have their consoles and a library of games? Nothing, [small]you're screwed.[/small]

God I can't wait for all the threads that will pop up here from angry people who actually believed Microsoft "changed their ways".

It will be glorious, and as sucky as it all is, those people kind of get everything that's coming to them. Microsoft was acting like a B movie super-villain from the start of this, and now all is forgiven and forgotten? Christ, and I thought politics brought out people's mental failings flawlessly...
You got a link for that? Anyway, people are being way too reactive when it comes to the buzzword that is "DRM". Microsoft's digital rights policies were not anywhere near as restrictive as people made it sound. It all sounded great to me; international digital sharing with up to ten people, an online library available wherever you are, cloud storage for developers, server offloading and performance enhancing, a used games policy which allows for used games whilst still making money for the developers?

Would have been awesome, provided people just give it a chance.
