IF you like playing with a real life person, why the hell are you doing it over the net? Go join a sport or something! This is what I assumed PvP's lure was. Pretend you have a life and deceive yourself and your friends into thinking so because you're all playing a game together. News flash!
You're not better than us. Despite the fact that you are playing a GAME with real people, you're still playing a GAME for many many hours. It doesn't make you any less geeky than us who will play through Mass Effect trying to unlock everything or the offline Quake III Arena in the hardest difficulty.
I always had it in the back of my mind when I talked to other people who say that are a 'pc gamer' and show me on their Xfire or whatever that they've played Counterstrike over 9000 hours a month. Yet if I were to say that about Oblivion or some other mainly PvE game, I would instantly be classed as someone with no life. Where is the justice in that?
