Makes me glad I don't play online much. Tried getting the Stranglehold online achievements though but gave up after realizing very few other still play making waiting a REAL hassle.
Anyway, one of these rare matches started with me getting enough special powers to afford one sniper shot, I spot the other guy and gets in a lucky headshot. Two seconds later I get the massage "[Random Douchebag] has left the game" :D

Then I discover I suddenly have 3 approval rate stars instead of five. Guess he rage-gave me a "one" as well, the little prick. Makes me wish I had memorized his tag.

So yeah, online gaming rears its ugly sides even at very slight exposure. Not my thing, having to deal with immaturity while trying to have fun.

The one thing worse than rage quitters is rage kickers. I've been kicked a number of times because I was attempting a "run through" level and they stopped in EVERY ROOM to check for supplies. They, of course, got mobbed and kicked me.

Dorks.

The only realistic thing you can do on the 360 is to submit negative feedback for the players that rage quit, making them an avoided player which will decrease the chance of you getting matched up with them and them repeatadly doing it to you of course. and it will drop their rating, people generally avoid playing with people with a bad rating, i know i do. eventually when said bad players stop getting people to play with, they may change their ways, but its incredibly unlikely and a long process, so theres not much we can do except keep giving bad feedback to bad players

Yeah, its a major issue especially in L4D. I lost the count of how many times a versus match has been ruined by rage quitters
