My friend, I want things to stay same if they are good. but to evolved.

Max Payne 3 was in wrong direction. now this game looks like real Max payne 3. max payne without sam lake is not max payne.

I loved Max Payne 3, still think about it now and then, even miss it sometimes. *sigh* Not usually one to agree with remasters, but would be wonderful to have that experience again. Blasted new generation of consoles. Pity cannot play this new title either. Still got Scholar of first sin to finish though.

Pffffft. MP3 wasn't developed by Remedy Entertainment, an insult if any. If you've played Alan Wake, you know what they wanted to do with Max.

This thread should be killed with fire. Good news that it going on the PC but the ignorance is astounding.

Other than the unskippable cutscenes I thought Max Payne 3 was great. IMO it has the best 3rd person shooting mechanic of any game... ever.

I don't want to derail the topic however.

I prefer to play 3rd person shooters on a mouse and keyboard so the fact that Quantum Break is going to be on PC does make me happy. I just hope they don't pull a "Windows Store Only" thing and at least put a version on STEAM.

Agreed, while I didn't get to play the old games, I really did like how they showed what the years of drinking did to Max mentally.
While I know a lot of people didn't like it, I actually loved it, the gameplay was good, the plot was good and the acting/VA for Max was perfect for the style they were going for.

And I still find myself listening to the Music from that Airport section...

OT: ...This isn't Killer Instinct Season 3 :<

max payne 3 include stupid cover system, ruined max character, daylight, too much cutscene, bad story, it was basically linear GT with bullet time.

Loved Max Payne 3, best third person game I have played yet. But whatever floats your boat my friend. After all, I am a person who actually like Battlefront.

Anyway, Quantum Break didn't look to impressive to me. I have yet to understand how some random scientist all of a sudden knows how to use a gun. But that gameplay I watched was months ago. Maybe it has changed since.

Agreed. I'll quote myself: "Max Payne 3 has a really nice balance of weight and mobility, and a story above most other game stories. The carry system is efficient AND realistic. It also has a strong, consistent tone, owing much to the music and art direction."

Of course Black-Cell is bitching about the cover system again. As the guy in my quote says, Black-Cell always complains about optional features as if they're forced. His threads consist of talking about something he likes and then repeatedly talking about what he doesn't like. His threads are rarely constructive and just spread negativity. He never learns from anyone's perspective.

max payne 1 was the TPS that was not design with cover in mind as a reslut you only crouch and no bad level design. as you only move forward and shoot. max payne 3 again introduce cover system with lazy wall cover level design.
Yeah, and Max Payne 3 had the best gunplay in the series in spite of that. If you don't like the cover system, minimize your use of it. The enemies become more manageable if you keep moving. I don't see what's so special about the gunplay of Max Payne 1. You're just biased. Like I said in Subjectless, you're obsessed with everything staying the same, to the point that it clouds your judgement.
I don't know why anyone even pays attention to this troll, let alone responds to him. He's always bitching about optional features as if they're forced. It makes it obvious what a noob he is at playing.

There's nothing wrong with having a cover system if it's well made, and the one in MP3 definitely is. It's not auto cling, there are many suitable objects to crouch behind without attaching to them, and the physical border of objects is so tight, you can aim very close to them and stay in cover pretty well even without attaching to cover. I doubt this idiot even knows that.

I'll add that one of the best things about the cover system if you choose to use it though, is it blends perfectly with shoot dodging. All you need do is dive near a cover object, then tap the snap to cover key and rinse and repeat. They literally made the game so you can go all arcade cover, or no cling-to cover at all, yet morons like him still find something pointless on their troll bucket list to ***** about.

The crappy new forum layout and this buffoon, which people take FAR too seriously, are the biggest reasons to avoid GT lately. This place is practically dead anymore.
1. My friend, this is not gametrailers.com. know one knows who i am. maybe they will in future if i become popular here.

2. cover system and cinematics are forced mechanics. game is design with in mind. Level design is also horrible.

max payne 3 is a proof that rockstar should have never touch max payne and let remedy to develop it. like i said max payne without sam lake is not same.

Apparently there are some XBone fans cancelling their pre-orders because of this. And yes, I wish I was joking.

Because someone else besides them is getting it too? Or because they want to pick up the PC version, even though they own an Xbone?

If the first case, which I've got a feeling it is, then that is petty but par for the course for fanboys since forever.
If the latter, then well, that's their choice, isn't it?

Recommended a 980TI or Fury X? Nah, man that sounds like bullshit. My guess is that those are kind of specs that you would need to run the game at 4k, or something. No way will the game need anything like that to max it out, otherwise.

It doesn't. Here are officially adjusted specs: http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/gpu_displays/remedy_updates_quantum_break_pc_system_requirements/1

The paying for online complaint is understandable, it's a case of saying we will give the PC version free servers because they are use to not paying but we will charge the console because your use to it.

No it isn't, when Microsoft came in and said hey we are hiding multiplayer behind a paywall and charging you for internet you already pay for, console gamers said Hell yes... need some Halo 2 no matter the cost. When Microsoft released Halo 2 on PC and prepared to do the same thing PC gamers said fuck that. Don't blame others for what you allowed Microsoft to do to you.
