I really liked Red Dead Revolver but wished it had more to it, was a more open-ended come-and-go-as-you-like kind of game (...must I call it "sandbox"?). Like what the GTA series would become but in a Western-flavor. This seems to be what Redemption is all about. I love the music used in the trailers, hope there's more of it in the actual game. Reminds me of Neil Young's soundtrack for "Dead Man [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112817/]".

Didnt play the first but caught a glimpse at the trailer a week ago and I must say, I've never been one for those types of games but damn me if I dont get this game.
I'm looking forward to it, I'm a bit nervous because of the write ups about it not being 100% complete. They've said it's content complete, but I'm afraid they haven't gotten to polish it enough and they won't get to because they may not make any money off of it anyway.
I'd take an option somewhere in the middle. I saw the trailer and thought it looked alright, but nothing to get hugely excited about. Instead of being an immediate must-buy, it's on my 'games to possibly get at some point in the future' list.
Based on all the previews it doesn't sound bad, but I'm really not a fan of westerns at all so I can't say I'm interested in the least.
Only started following it recently but it's looking pretty good to me. Love the idea of riding around wherever I want, hunting, getting into fights with roaming bandits etc. I just hope the game world is big and open enough to give that epic Western feel. I think it'll at least be more fun than GTAIV, overall.
I loved RD Revolver and Redemption looks like Gun only really, really, REALLY good.

It looks nice, the sandbox thing will probably be a lot of fun (because of the whole Rockstar thing) and old west games are pretty rare... I guess
But I don't really give a damn.

Looks really good even though I'm not really interested in western games. I'll probably get it depending on what else comes out at that time.
