Why Isn't there a "no" option?
It's like all gamers who know about it will eventually play it?

Personally I won't, because it is not going to be released in PCs.

I was hyping this so much when it was first announced...then it got delayed and pushed back so many times I lost interest in it.

If Microsoft hadn't decided to pull the PC version for the sake of having an XBox 360 exclusive, I might be. As it stands, I'm kind of hoping it's awful. Screwing over one customer base to prop up sales from another is pretty high-grade unrefined corporate bastard.

My interest in this game really was lost when they announced it would be an Xbox exclusive. If it comes out for the PC or PS3, I'll play it.

I would, but unfortunately, it's not coming to the PC (great way Remedy to act to your fanbase which gave you the support on your previous games!) so I will just say NO!
Hey c'mon man Remedy did say WHY they weren't releasing it to PC, also giving some hope. They respect their fanbase. Cut them some slack, they even countered the poor excuse Microsoft gave!

Check out the link in post 33 for more info.
Mm, didn't saw those news. But still, they have lost my support. And I don't see their excuse good enough to NOT release it on the PC. I do see their excuse of being a small studio, but couldn't they find a way to release it on the PC, like asking support from Microsoft?
Still, if it ever happens to be released on the PC, I will play it, but I'll expect a game with the feel of a console game, and not a PC. Still, I'll just wait and see.

As with pretty much all of my games, I'll probably buy it when it can be found in a bin.
Because I'm poor XD

But yeah, Alan Wake is a game I've only heard of 'cause of Yahtzee ragging off this year's new releases, so it's not overly hyped anywhere around here (that I've noticed), so if not for ZP I probably wouldn't even have heard of it. I'm not camping outside Gamestation on it's release date (whenever that happens to be).

Up until the time when they pretty much showed off what the enemies were and how to beat them, I was all over this game. Now, it's still something I want to see, but less so now. It's sort of like the Dead Space problem, if they seem too familiar and I know how to beat them, they're not as scary. However, I did sort of like Dead Space (except for the asteroids), so I'm willing to give this a chance, but it's no preorder/day one game.

Until they release a PC version like they originally intended to, Alan Wake does not exist for me.

Yeah, where's the "It looks like a piece of shit because I believe 'survival horror' is an oxymoron" option?

I'll probably play it at some point as I'm a long time Silent Hill fan and it seems to have a similar vibe.. but something about Wake just doesn't grab me. When I play it will probably be dictated by reviews, etc. after some sort of consensus has been reached.

Right, there isn't a 'no' option. It's either 'YES', 'I don't know it', or 'perhaps later'.

Fight the powah, I'm not voting.
