Yeah. I'd play Mass Effect, actually.

But seeing as my PC is sub-par and I'm a PS3 owner, I can't.

Im pretty sure I said this before.......

In that thread about the Normandy made of lego i said "damn I came in here expecting a mass effect lego game. Curse you OP you raised my hopes then destoryed them".........

OT: I like the lego games. Theyre a bit of mindless fun. I dont know if it would mix well with ME however but id probably still play it

The poll sounds a little odd. I like Mass Effect, and I like the Lego series, but I don't think they would fit together that well. However, the idea of a Lego RPG would be pretty cool.

Oh wait, you mean a Lego videogame??

Dammit, I thought it meant Lego as in the ACTUAL Lego!

Cause if they made a Lego ME set that would be awesome :D
Oh, man! I would so buy it and then dig out my Lego and rebuild the Blacktron Renegade [http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/6954-1] and make some sort of space battle diorama. Partly because it's an awesome set, and partly so I could say "Renegade Shepard attacks the Renegade!"

So.

Mass Effect is a reconstruction of various tropes used by classic Eighties' sci-fi films like Star Wars, and you suggest a Lego-game adaptation (trend of which has begun with Lego Star Wars). I think we've come full circle.

As for the question... if that game parodied Mass Effect... why not?

No. Because it wouldn't exist because of the "controversy".But if it did i'd gladly eat my own poo for the rest of my life.

Yes. I enjoy the quirky humor provided by the LEGO games, even if some view them as childish.

The interesting part about a LEGO game tackling something like Mass Effect is that past LEGO games have had no dialogue and relied entirely on slapstick to drive the plot forward. I'd play it, if only to see the emphasized story-over-gameplay approach of Mass Effect reduced to physical comedy. Though giving dialogue trees for what your character would do could be a funny thing, giving you small actions your character would do rather than dialogue options.

Proably not. It just dosen't sound like it would be that great. It's diffcult to do character development on such a scale when they don't even use voice actors.

I was going to say no because it was mass effect and not even lego could make it appeal to me but I still love lego so I can't check off any answers =(

It would certainly be interesting.
Worth a look into, perhaps.
But the last Lego game I played, I did not enjoy so much, so I don't have such a good opinion of them...

OT: Haha if it was a lego game, it would be annoying with the Mako..
