turned free will on
built a huge maze with TONS of land between the toilet, fridge, bed and shower; no escape, also i took a hint from cracked and made him a hydrophobe with a large amount of water between him and his basic needs
first time round he just stayed in his bedroom pissing himself and crying until he gathered the courage to move around

If you've ever played The Sims and you say that you've never once thought of torturing them - you are flat out lying.

Or you're my mom. >_>

I definitely had some fun killing them off. Haven't played that game in awhile. Might have to now.

In the sims 1, any overlapping objects would all catch fire at once. Also, fireworks would only land on unoccupied squares. Thus, the fire-trap was concieved.

I took the largest plot of land, cheated for money, then built one enormous room and filled it with overlapping rugs except for one square. I then added a firework launcher thing and eight sims. After luring them inside, I deleted every door and window, then waited.

Eventually, one of them became bored and decided to play with the fireworks. I watched as the rocket flew into the air, then came down again on the one empty space. The fire stayed on that spot for several seconds, before it spread. Instantly the entire room caught fire, and every person in it was bathed in flame. It was beautiful.

What was even more amusing was that if you left the house and surveyed the neighbourhood at that moment, mousing over the fire-trap would show the entire building being incinerated.

Yes. I walled off one of the women and had the man constantly do the things she needed to do (such as urinate) in front of her, through a window.

Then she died.

It was after one of those costume expansions came out. I had a family dress all as indians, then killed them off. Moved all the gravestones to one room and removed the door. Then I moved a new family into the house, and they were now haunted by the ghosts of the previous family....in costume!

It was my "Indian Graveyard".

Child Services came to take my child away once. When the lady picked up my kid I deleted all the doors and windows in the room. She stayed there for about a day before just shrugging and disappearing in a puff of smoke, baby and all.
Maybe she was a demon or a witch with the ability to teleport. I wouldn't put it past The Sims games to have something like that. Mainly because The Sims 2 had vampires and aliens.
It was crappy when my Sim got turned into a vampire, I just decided to end it for him and made him walk outside and get killed by the sun; he became a pile of ashes.
Another strange thing, if I remember correctly, in the first Sims I bought and hung the picture of the clown, then randomly a clown would visit and wouldn't leave, then I would have to call the clown catcher. The clown catcher would catch the clown ghost busters style and suck him into machine, then the clown catcher would also suck up the picture of the clown and then leave.

I never torture MY Sims, I make my Sim an evil mastermind who causes suffering for others... for his own amusement, of course.

Oh god the Sims is fun when you torture people. Having a little room with nothing in there but trash and piss everywhere.

I love torturing them. I once forced my sister to torture her sim to death by making my sim wohoo her sim. She was so angry she had to kill her sim. Playing god has a lot of perks.

I've only seriously played the first sims, but I still did it. I used the Move_Objects_On_ code to trap the Pizza Guy in a room with no doors, and one time, by accident, I forgot to put a staircase in my house, so all my sims had to sleep on the floor. It took me like an hour to figure out why none of them would go to sleep in their beds on the second floor. XD

Torturing sims is an art form. Sure, you can starve them or make them start a fire, but there are ways to get creative with it.
Elaborate...?
This [http://www.cracked.com/blog/exploring-the-mysteries-of-the-mind-with-the-sims-3/] kind of thing.
