Maybe this is just some cruel joke or something. Alright. I'll play along. I vote for Fable II, because it was pretty good.
Same for me, though I thought it said pokemon, not pikmin. Man, I had read more carefully I would have picked that instead. I love those little guys so much that I get really sad when I left one behind during the night by mistake and watch them get eaten =(

That's meant to be the top 8? Yeah, right. No Pacman, no Mario, no DOOM, no Space Invaders, no System Shock.
No Half Life either. My vote goes to Half Life.

This is a very odd list.
I would have went wit something like
Pong
Super Mario Bros.
Doom
Half Life
Halo
WoW
Wii sports(or wii in general)
Call of Duty 4:Modern Warefare
But that's just me.

I don't see how any of those games changed anything. But what I will say is that the one that changed EVERYTHING was called Computer Space. It was the very first purely entertainment/game software developed, and it started everything.

I'm not entirely sure why ANY of these games are on the list, but I'm just going to pick Disgaea because it is awesome, dood.

Ok, so I really tried to read the original article to figure out if there was even a shred of method to all this madness.

And I quit reading when the author said that Four Swords Adventures influenced Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time.

Erm...last time I checked, the original FFCC came out before FSA. And I actually enjoyed it a lot more than FSA come to think of it...

Eh, whatever. Based on the list, Pikmin is my favorite. My first game on the Gamecube, and still one of my favorites.

Seriously? I expected Mario 64 or Metroid Prime, or Quake or something like that... Christ these haven't revolutionized anything!

For a list that claims to name the most game-changing titles in recent history, this is rather...lackluster. These are not the games that come to mind. (LOZ:Four Swords Adventure? Are you kidding me?)

OT: I voted on Harvest Moon since its one of the few games that makes monotonous imaginary farm chores addicting.

(the second being Farmville...)

What... I don't think any of those games really changed gaming. o_o

I mean... no. None of them. Maybe the first Fable, MAYBE, but not Fable II. Certainly not Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, or Pikmin. They are their own little slice of the industry, and haven't effected it much as a whole.

As for Zelda: Four Swords? Try Ocarina of Time.

Disgaea is so niche... Hasn't affected much.

Also, Godzilla Unleashed? Lol. Yeah right.

And I've never even heard of Mobile Suit Gundam. The anime changed the face of anime, but the games didn't change gaming.

Is this, like, some sort of joke?

Since Godzilla and Gundam are the only two list members I've ever played...Godzilla, I choose you...as the winner by default.

Pikmin? I don't really think any of those changed it significantly imo. Games that come to mind: Pac-man, Evercrack-I mean Quest, Space Invaders, Halo, WoW, Pokemon, Command & Conquer, MK and Street Fighter, Farmville, things like that. Genre definers/movers. Those seem too sequelly to me. Or stand alone with little or no influence.

Afterthought: Yea, this was probably a staff giving us a good trolling.
