It's pretty stupid to lump a large group of people together based on their digital media of choice.

Imaginative problem solving. Why? This challenges designers and gamers to think out of the box and allows for growth of game design.

42% of people think the highest aspiration of man is Engineering. They're probably right.
Reminded me of a joke. In this world, there are a lot of questions that the answers hinge on exactly who you ask. Engineers, for example:

Ask a math engineer what Pi is, they'll tell you they need a bigger team and a bigger budget to answer that question.

Ask a architectural engineer what Pi is, they'll tell you that it's roughly 3 1/4.

Ask a civil engineer what Pi is, they'll say it's F4 in the vending machine.

Seeing as how teambuilding is a vital part of many industries and jobs, and projects, then it must be teamwork - how games show people the value of working in a team as a certain role, great improves society. It's something that books and film just don't give.

I'd say imagination really, just because they're the ones that take the spirit of gaming and extract it elsewhere. They're the Penny Arcade guys doing PAX and Make A Wish foundation. They the-...Eh...I can't actually think of anyone remotely like Jerry and Mike. You get the picture though.

Problem solving. Looking at the issue from our sick, demented, tainted minds' perspective could help solve problems non-gamers just can't figure out.
And the ability to work on the same problem for hours a day, days at a time, even if we seem like we're getting nowhere.

Or maybe that's just 'cos I suck at games...

"Okay, you remember that bit in Half-Life 2, where you need to, like, blow up some oil barrels beside a delicate construction site, which then, like, makes a big beam swing over and totally blow through the gate? That might un-jam the dishwasher."

Endurance because I'll beat that god damn level I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL BEAT THAT LEVEL IF IT TAKES ME TEN YEARS.

Copy, find real-world issue, add point system, paste. Watch people fight over high score.
