Under "other", I vote for "Determination".

Because nothing, nothing, nothing, stopped me from beating you, Resident Evil 4. Nothing! Not your chainsaws, your rocket launchers, your gigantic plague monsters, your deathtraps, blind Wolverine wannabes, nor your endless procession of murderous villagers!

I beat you. Not once, not twice, but in every damn mode, on two different console's versions!

Ahem. Ranting aside, there is something in the psychology of many games that makes one simply unable to do anything but try, try again. So I'd call that a gamer quality, and it's a good one to take with you to work, that's for sure.

the knowledge that computers are NOT fucking magical*. suprisingly rare and an absolute essential for life in the 21st century.

i didnt used to think this was rare, then it got out that im a nerd. now every time anyone in my family has a computer "problem" ("try pressing the number lock key" "wow that fixed it, thanks!") its my job to either exorcise the demons that infest their machines or somehow my fault when the non-networked machine in the next state acts up "try pressing the number lock key... yeah i thought so."

*unless theyre enchanted, and even then the fuckups are still not generally caused by the magic. its a proven fact: voodoo dolls do not work on computers

Lack of Judgement.

To do things that other people would have gone, "no way, that's a stupid thing to do"
i.e. saving someone from a burning building..
