Huh, never heard of either of them. Kind of interesting to look over though.Halceon said:The one thing is Dungeons and Discourse [http://dndis.wikidot.com/], but since I'm also part of the development team, that is kind of a given. But on the less traditional side of things, I've had my share of Shock: Social Science Fiction [http://glyphpress.com/shock/]. Also a bit of Paranoia over a forum, but that hardly counts.
That's pretty much it. Then they folded them back together to make 3.0j0frenzy said:In the early versions of D&D they had this thing going where they would have two editions simultaneously. One was the more simplistic main game and the other was the advanced game for people who wanted more depth and complexity. An interesting idea that I don't really understand why they stopped. At least that is my understanding of it. I've never really looked at anything older than 3rd edition.pluizig said:I thought AD&D *was* 2nd edition. Can anyone explain the difference?
And yet, more people have voted for that than any other item.SFMB said:Why is there a "I Don't Play D&D"-option in the poll? That's not relevant to the question at all...
3.5 is my favourite as well. However, I found it a bit hard to grasp (mostly because no one knew how to actually play it, and we only had 1 of the 3 starter books). Been looking at Pathfinder myself. Does it do a better job at explaining things?Ninjariffic said:I got my start in 2nd Ed. 3E was just amazing when it came out. All shiny and new.
We're currently playing Pathfinder, and I have to say that that's my favourite.
Followed by the Iron Heroes (by Monte Cooke) substitute player's handbook for 3.5.
