I said this in another thread but:

I tried the free trial, built a doom-tower and, after feeling satisfied, went on my way. I wouldn't buy the full game since the free version was enough to satisfy me. It was neat but I've had my fill.

I'm not sure if you (or alot of other people for that matter) realize this, but Minecraft Classic and Minecraft Beta are two entirely different games. That "free trial" is no where near as addictive as the survival mode in the paid version.

Bought it, Played it sometime
Then Played me some multiplayer. Not addicted or so.
Then somebody got a ts3 server and a smp minecraft server . Now I'm addicted

I bought it and couldn't stop playing for a week. But then updates broke the Multiplayer, and I haven't played in a while. I will when some more updates come out though.

I USED to be addicted to Minecraft...now I find it kind of boring. Hopefully the update that was released today will re-interest me.

I played it when it was on beta (I think) and it was not really my cup of tea so I guess not.

I like crafting and creating elements in larger games, but games that are purely building stuff? Not so much.
This is why I could never play The Sims or SimLife or basically anything with "Sim" in the name for more than a few days to a couple of weeks.

It... just never seemed necessary when I first heard of it. Nowadays, I'm sort of tired of hearing about it, which could go one of two ways: I could either give it a try just to see what the fuss is all about, or steadfastly refuse to ever go near it. I was never really one for Lego and I don't have much of a creative streak so I think it'll probably be the latter.

Personally I hate Minecraft.



I suppose its fine for the casual crowd but I prefer action and story in my video games.

I have it, and I ABSOLUTELY love it. I love making towers and forts on it. I enjoy it to bits, especially on the Escapecraft server. I love it on there.

I bought it back in Alpha, played for a while, and got bored. As open as it is, it starts to get horrendously repetitive.

I had never heard of the game until I read this poll. After looking at it, I think I might give it a go. Looks pretty damn fun.
