I've gotten them all as I'm a huge Mass Effect fan. Firewalker was a little disappointing but it was completely free so I'm hard-pressed to really complain about it.

Kasumi's Stolen Memory, Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker were absolutely fantastic though, and completely worth the money.

Got the free stuff, and the Stolen Memory, Overlord and Shadow Broker packs, though not played the last three. Got them when they were 200MP each, just not managed to play it.

As far as DLC goes, Mass Effect has been a mixed bag. Bioware is one of the companies I purchuse DLC from, and obviously as someone with strong opinions about it, I have tried enough of it to know what I'm talking about.

To put things into perspective, "Lair Of The Shadow Broker" is one of the things that should have been included as part of the main game. What's more there is evidence it was planned from the very beginning due to the prescence of voice files for Liara in the main game, long before the release of the DLC, which caused a lot of contreversy over gouging. Simply put given her popularity from the first game (and apparently everyone's favorite romance option), Bioware knew that by not including her in the main game but as DLC they could make more money.

The problem with these "bit sized chunks" of additional content is that they are overpriced for what you wind up getting. I have no real issue with expansion packs, but I think paying $5 to $15 depending on company for something that includes at most a couple of hours of play time and very few new game assets (reusing tiles, graphics, and other things from the main game) is going a bit far as a money making gimmick. My opinion for a long time has been that you should probably get roughly 1 hour of play from an expansion for every dollar spent. I look back at things like Origin's expansion packs for "Wing Commander" and "Ultima 7" as more or less how things should be done, but of course there is less money to be made that way which is why you don't see it.

In the long run we'll see what happens, I know there are many people who disagree with me, but to be honest as time goes on, I am finding DLC to be more and more of a way of nickel and diming players. It seems like things that the player base really wants are being held out of games to be sold later for extra money. In the end the cost of getting all the material for a game winds up being pretty bloody high, which is annoying given that games are already pricy enough as is.

I haven't even started up ME2, let alone get any DLC for it.

I likely won't get any of it though.

Good question this time.

I got 'em all, but not like "bought" them all. I want to enjoy the game, the full game. Since I already payed 50$ for it, I'm not gonna throw away another 50$ for some crap weapons & armor and stuff that should have been there in the first place (i.e. Shadow Broker, Kasumi). Plus, they didn't fix quests which were broken since the release. Makes you think.

I have Lair of the Shadowbroker, Overlord, and all the free stuff. Kasumi didn't seem worth it, I don't use weapons enough to justify a purchase for extra weapons, and I would never, ever, forgive myself if I used Microsoft points to buy costumes.
The Kasumi dlc was pretty good, though a little short. I like her as a squadmember, she has decent powers, and the smg you get in the mission is pretty good.
I did buy two item-packs, and kind of regret it, but I like having choices ingame.
I'm with you on the costumes..

I am still waiting for the Platinum Edition for the Xbox 360. I pretty much only buy Platinum editions of games I like a)because they are cheaper and b)because they usually include downloadable content. So the sooner Bioware releases the Platinum edition the sooner they will get some more sales!

I bought the Digital Deluxe Edition, so I have some of it. Planning on buying more later, though.

I have major issues with the way that game was run, and games these days are run. The new edition comes out 1-2 years tops after the first one, that should last until the newer one comes out I.e, halo 2.

EA finally had an ingenious solution that if all the content was free would have been the greatest Idea gaming had seen in eons. You see, that stuff people gripe about devs cutting from games, you give it back to them, for free, on a staggered schedule, and give people reason to keep playing it past say a 5 day rental system.

Second reason why would I fart around with 2 hours of content for like 10-15 bucks when I can get games off steam for 1/3 the price. DLC vs midweek/weekend deal if you have a good pc, you know which one is best for your money.

I've got some Free DLC(Zaeed, Normandy Crash Site), Kasumi and Lair Of The Shadowbroker.

Which I don't think fits the Poll choices.

I only have the free stuff at the moment, but I do plan to get Lair of the Shadowbroker and maybe a couple of the other mission packs at some point before ME3 comes out.

Only the free stuff. Bioware makes great games, but shitty DLC...

I bought Kasumi, but didn't get to buying Overlord or Shadowbroker before my hard drive death. Once I play back through the first game I'll get the other(story) DLC for the second one. As far as the outfits and guns go, I couldn't care less about that stuff.

I downloaded all of the DLC within a week of their release. If I could call myself a fanboy of only one gaming francise, it would be the Mass Effect games.
