well technically I had to pay for the Cerberus Network since I bought the game used...but then again I got the game used for so cheap it wasn't too bad. I plan to buy Kasumi and Lair but will probably have to skip Overlord to keep things affordable

I've got some Free DLC(Zaeed, Normandy Crash Site), Kasumi and Lair Of The Shadowbroker.

Which I don't think fits the Poll choices.
yeah not sure what to say for the poll haha...I said free stuff for now cuz I haven't bought the new team member dlc just yet
I also am saving my money for stuff that I think will carry over better for ME3...hence choosing Kasumi over Overlord

I answered mission packs despite the singular nature and the conflicting presence of the free stuff that came with the game.
crash site. The game is entirely incomplete without this 2 minute long DLC. Used copies of ME2 were maimed nigh irreparably because of this.

For those with a faithful Shepard that stared in melancholy to their photo of Liara, looking for the piece of mind to die for the next mission, trying futilely to banish the wish that she were there with you, as she always had been.

Bought all of them except the costume ones, the weapons comes with some gameplay changes at least instead of just cosmetic. Also, finally shotguns stopped sucking with the arrival of the Geth Plasma Shotgun.

Most of the DLC I have for ME2 is the mission packs. I have all the free ones, but I want to be able to get all the DLCs. But, since I'm broke, can't find my copy of ME2 & my internet is out, I can't.

I think when most people say 'All of it' they aren't including the weapon and appearance packs. I know I'm not. There's a bit of a problem with saying 'mission packs' since that doesn't include the Zaeed and Kasumi DLCs.

I don't have ME 1 or 2 but I do have armor that I got along with Dragon Age: Origins.

I have all of it, even the arguably pointless stuff. It's pretty much my favourite game of all time so I went all out with the DLC.

Only the free stuff. That was mostly crap.

Why would I buy DLC for a game I have little intention to ever play again?

As I've said many times about Mass Effect 2:

Awesome game. Terrible RPG.
A better shooter make worse an RPG game does not - or something like that.

And in terms of choices, it's a superb RPG, it's just broken off from the stat-based crowd.

Maybe people should stop obsessing with "how much" of an RPG Mass Effect 2 is. (Yeah, I'm looking at you too you fucking Human Revolution haters - mention the cover system one more time and I'll cut your hands off.)
Exactly. While I liked the stats-based levelling from Mass Effect, it didn't bother me that much for Mass Effect 2 when the simplified it except the implication that we are too thick to get the stats stuff.
Well I think the point was that the shooting's going to be at it's best if you feel like you're doing actual damage - and it does, it makes the combat better. Alright, you can debate whether or not you prefer the heat sinks to the overheating meter, but I've yet to find anyone say they didn't prefer the actual shooting.

Mass Effect is an RPG through it's choices and dialogue; the genre's splitting into your more stat-based stuff (Dragon Age) and Mass Effect (and The Witcher 2 it seems).

Making it more of a third-person shooter does not necessarily make it less of an RPG, especially if the RPG stuff that the series was really about is better. Mass Effect wasn't exactly heavy on the stats anyway.
no its a low quality rpg cause i never felt like my choices meant anything in the game. I didnt notice any real impact besides the final mission to anything I did. I know its becuase its the middle game and if they let you deviate to much the last game would be a pain to make, but it really does come off to me as a really subpar rpg with plot holes to make peace with the shooter crowd
There's loads of carry over from the first game in terms of choices.

thus the first game has more impact on the 2nd game then the 2nd game does on the 2nd game. Thus still meaning your choices in the 2nd game have little to no impact on what happens in the 2nd game.
Well that's the point - choices are supposed to snowball over the course of the trilogy.

I have the free stuff, but buy DLC. No, there have never been released a DLC for any game that was worth buying, and I don't think that there ever will be.

I got the free stuff and the extra team members, Firewalker (which should've been free) and I just recently bought the Overlord pack. I've gotta say that the story for the Overlord mission was pretty damn good. I just wish it was longer and had more dialogue. They give us extra characters and never have them say anything? Blasphemy! (Other than just that one little nod towards Legion[<---favorite character] near the beginning).

the thing about the DLC's for mass effect, is that they actually add to the story, and have a lot of replayability in the different chouces yu make, whihc is something that you dont find in a lot fo DLC's now-a-days.
