One, because I'm guessing that brick and mortar retail means I walked into a store and bought a game.
I bought Pokemon Heart Gold in the summer at a GameStop.
Other than that.
I pre-ordered from Amazon and got delivered at launch:
Halo Reach
Collectors Edition of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Limited Collectors Edition Fable 3
Collectors Edition of Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2
I loved all but SWTFU2; it is way too short, story was stupid, and it felt very rushed.
I also bought Minecraft and extremely love it.

Only 1 actually. THPS4 for Xbox.

Hm... Let's see... I got my new computer in january and felt a need to catch up on about 5 years of gaming...
Retail about... 10-15 games off the top of my head. On Pc alone. Then maybe 6-7 games on console. And a 360 slim. Which came with Splinter Cell: Conviction. So... Good for me.

Well considering I only bought my 360 in November 09 nearly all the games I have for it were bought in 2010... hmm... I'd say 10. Possibly 11 but I can't remember exactly when I bought ME1.
wow i completely lost track. Earlier in the year i bought quite a few that were on clearence at Target and since i worked there i got an extra discount.
There was CoD3, Brutal Legend, Bioshock 2, GTA IV, RDR, Reach, Darksiders, Mass Effect, Battlefield BC 2, Guitar Hero Van Halen, WoW Cataclysm, and im sure im forgetting some.
WoW looking at that list made me realize just how much $$ i spent just on games.

These questions always screw me up because hell if I know what games actually came out in 2010 and which ones I got in 2009...they're all the same to me :/

I think I'll be getting a LOT less games this year though, from about 10-12 per year to about 1-2 a year for the next few years - I don't own a TV at university, and thus, as a console gamer, I have no need to get anymore PS3 games, really... I get the occasional PC game, but as a Mac user, my library is a tad more limited

Fable 3, Oblivion GOTY Edition(clearance), and Mass Effect 2.
Well, those are new at retail. Everything else I bought used.
Oh, I forgot about P3P and Persona for the PSP. Whoops. Guess it was 5. Everything else was either used(don't count as retail) or digital(Steam/GoG).

I bought ME 1 and 2 retail, I had EB games gift cards... Okay, I bought 2 games at retail. The rest were purchased via steam.
I built a gaming computer just after new year, so buying console games did not seem important.
I also have quite a backlog of PS3 games to finish. So I will not be buying new games for it until the other games are finished.
