Sitting through the first movie caused me both physical and mental pain. I've never read any of the books, and I don't plan on getting involved.

The only way I will ever see this movie is by borrowing the DVD from someone else (so they don't get my money) and watching it with the Rifftrax commentary.
High-five for Rifftrax.

The only one I saw was Twilight and it was just...meh. I really don't have any interest in seeing more.

It's Canada Day, the day all my peoples come together to celebrate the birth of our nation by getting completely plastered, and this is the question you put up? Escapist, I am very disappoint.

No. No I will not see it. 1000 times no. Bryce Howard certainly won't change that fact. I have only seen the first one and that was because they trapped me at 30,000 feet to do it. And I refused the sound. Me and my dad's commentary was a lot more entertaining.

If I was being well compensated and was not expected stay awake/not play my DS. Then sure why the hell not.
Any other way....... I really can't see the point. Being made to read bad fan fic is painfull at best but actually watching bad fan fic. *chuckle* I don't even know how the teenage girls do it. Perhaps if I started swinging to the left field (way to the left. a sparkely/braindead kind of left) and didnt take in to account the kind of relationships I desire then I could see the appeal.

It's made for teenage girls, and I am not a teenage girl so I'm not going to see it.

Despite being a teenage girl and therefore in the target audience of this film, I will not be watching Eclipse. I am not a masochist and will not pay to be tortured.

Umm... Why did they put this poll up?

Aw, hell no! I'll never see a movie that is just a fad. If it was made of art, I will watch it.

How come there's no "Yes, because I'm mildy interested and might as well see how it turns out" option?

That'd cover me.
Yea, me too.
Unlike most here (I?m betting), I actually read these books and while I had no interest in seeing the last movie, this one coming out should be pretty cool and the last one should be downright trippy: most interested in seeing how Nessie get?s portrayed. It?ll be funnier than Avatar, that?s for sure.

The word no simply cannot encompass all of my response to this question, so i want to pioneer the use of a new term:

No.

Also, is this Eclipse thing really such a big deal that there has to be at least one item in the news ticker for it each day? I mean, not even the biggest games, except maybe WoW, get this much coverage from this site.
I'm going out on a limb here, but I think someone within the Escapists ranks really has a thing for Twilight. Enough of a fan to add site content or defer others (like daily polls) to make content about Twilight.

When Twilight 1 came out, I could care less.
When Twilight 2 came out, I was appalled.
When Twilight 3 came out, I was sick of hearing about Twilight. <-- Current.

Hell yes, because I like the series. But because I also hate the fangirls, even though the Haters are much worse, I'll be seeing a late showing of it next Friday night (date of the Blighty release), because late at night there will be much fewer people around (and thus less chance of there being screaming fangirls or idiots talking in the row behind me, the same reason I always go to late screnings of films...).

So many people talking about not seeing it because of how bad it is. And yet I'll bet most of those people saw American Pie... LOL

Where I'm from, movie tickets cost $2, so I'm going out of curiosity and to ruin everyone's time at the theater if they're really into it.
