Background info:
[HEADING=1]I HATE. HATE. HATE. HATE SPORE![/HEADING]
Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate SPORE since it was released. Imagine there is a box of 387.44 million miles printed in wafer thin layers. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for SPORE at this micro-instant. Hate. Hate.
I waited YEARS for it to come out, and I believed it was going to be revolutionary at best, and damn good fun at worst.
It was BULLSH*T. A crappy, ugly little game with a crappy creation tool and zero replay value.
Now, my answer:
I was initially pleased with the concept of Darkspore. The concept of an RPG could potentially work, what with the self-improvement take on evolution the game is based around
However, the way you just described it there, as a Diablo-thing and the word "Dungeon Crawler" makes me very, very dissapointed
I will follow it, but I do not particularly look foward to the version you have suggested.
